This is a family run hotel and from the moment we arrived, were made to feel part of the family. The weather was particularly inclement when we arrived on two motorcycles and despite being soaked through, it wasn't a problem for the family who welcomed us with plenty of towels and hot drinks. The added benefit of secure parking made for a very pleasant stay. Thank you all.

Host is awesome. Their hospitality is beyond my expectation. Location is great too as it takes just 10-minutes walking distance from the sanctuary hotel is quiet and clean. Hotel offers French home style meals. Great! Thanks!

A little gem hidden at the slopes of the shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes, with an air of old, with more than two floors and a familiar touch to any visitor. I was met by Monica at the door who strived to help me with my luggage. Right next to her was her father, Monsieur Rufino, who had the gift of tongues, because he spoke Spanish to me. The building had an ample dining room and the guest rooms were suffiently large as well. Decorations somehow transported you to the early 1900's and instilled in you a sense of mystery. You need good knees to climb the stairs but Monsieur Rufino was ready to lend a helping hand with the luggage. The room where I stayed had a sink and a bidet. The restroom was located half way up the stairs and the shower room was in front of my guestroom. For 15 euros you could have lunch or dinner. Food was plentiful and delicious. I would say it was typical from the area. Monsieur Rufino entertained me with his past adventures. Across from the Hotel there was a small hospital. There is no parking garage per se, but you can park on the street in front of the hotel. The street is rather quiet and I felt the car was in no danger. The Shrine of Our Lady was within walking distance. There is even an elevator around the corner that saves you from a steep climb. The grotto was about a 20m walk from the Hotel. If you ask me what impressed me the most, it has to be the fact that I felt like I was coming home to a family. When I left, it was like saying goodbye to very dear friends. They were interested in you and provided good advise and looked after your well being. In short, if you are looking for a personal down to earth experience with the flavor of family life, you should stay here.

The hosts were very friendly but the property needs a lot of improvement to make it worth the price.

The rooms don't have private bathrooms, you have to share with the rest of the floor. The stay was more expensive than nearby hotels so we expected that the rooms would have bathrooms. The property needs updates: it was hard to sleep because the bed springs are old, the house is very noisy at night, and the room is cramped and hot. They also need some new towels and linens.

Hosts were kind and very attentive. Location was great, a short walk from the Basilica and Grotto.
