Breakfast is a little basic but adequate!

We have stayed a couple of times here , great location & rooms , small place , but that’s the charm of it. At night you it’s like being in your own home with a comfortable downstairs lounge to yourself. Would definitely recommend!

There was nothing that could have been improved

Breakfast was outstanding. The staff were extremely helpful and recommended a great place to eat in the evening. I highly recommend Pieux for an exquisite stay in a beautiful house

Nothing all was perfection

Every single element of the design, colour palate, furniture choice, room design and the tiny finishing touches were all impeccable. The fire place and white Greek style seating area in the graphic vine lined conservatory was beautiful and we hope to use when we return. Sadly we only had a quick overnight stay. The breakfast as others have said was exceptional. The homemade brioche freshly baked and collected from the Boulangerie across the square was delicious and perfectly presented with homemade confiture and a piece of butter parcelled up with a bow. The beds were comfortable. The toiletries were Devine and even included a bath scrunchie. The little nook would have been lovely to spend an afternoon reading and another element we will use on our return. We have decided to spend our 20th Wedding Anniversary here in October and can’t wait. Jessica was the perfect host and Froggy’s where we ate gave us the best starter we have ever had.

Nothing- just a bit hot in the attic room but there was a fan.

We loved Le Pieux! We arrived after check in time but they kindly waited for us to arrive. In the gorgeous lounge they had herbal tea and cookies waiting for us. Wild flower arrangements were beautiful and the furnishings were very chic. Our room had a hall, living room and bedroom with a freestanding tub and a separate shower. Breakfast was amazing: a selection of cheeses, salami, fruit, home made jams and a special panettone like loaf made in their own bakery. The hotel was just off the main square and the ramparts were close by. The receptionist was charming! Can't recommend it enough.

Our room had a pointless 4foot 6 door in the partition wall that separated the bedroom from the lavatory. I am 6,5”

The breakfast was excellent. The location was perfect, near the ramparts and very central. The rooms are wonderfully quirky and very comfortable. There are some very interesting design features. Jessica waited for us since we arrived late, and was very welcoming and helpful. She kindly booked us a table at a restaurant we like which is popular. I can thoroughly recommend Pieux.

I would have liked some milk for my coffee in the lounge area.

The breakfast was delicious and loved the little parcel of butter. The orange juice was yummy. The selection of cheeses were yummy.

Small thing, but the hand basin is too small . Very difficult to wash your face.

The location is perfect for walking around the town. The space itself is very stylish and comfortable. We had the attic room which was super spacious. Excellent shower. Water really hot. The lounge was the perfect space to curl up Infront of the fireplace and read.

Everything was perfect!

pieuX was fabulous in every way. The building is beautiful and the décor is incredibly stylish. Every detail in the property has been beautifully thought out and the result was an enchanting, charming experience. The personal greeting from staff and the homemade lemonade and biscuits were a wonderful touch. We're already planning to come back in the spring for a long weekend. PS the beds are very comfy!

The lighting in our room was poor. It was so subdued that I had difficulty shaving and it was far too dark to read a book in the bedroom.
