The apartment was OK and the services like sheets, cleaning, toilet paper, ... were better than expected.

Can be tricky to find a parking space close by, so sometimes have to walk for a couple of minutes.

Excellent location, was very easy to go to skiing areas and to store the ski equipment. The stay was pleasant, however the room had old furniture, the sofa cum bed was very uncomfortable. The insulation of the room was not good because if people are partying all night, it’s not possible to fall asleep. Also, we had no room service & had to clean up the room/ throw waste by ourselves.

The ski lockers could only fit 3 pairs of skies per room so we had to leave the skies on the balcony over night

Apartment is small for 6 people but works well for groups of young people looking for a cheap ski holiday.

Reception toilets are horrendous and need renovating. Boot room could use drainage as it gets wet and floods easily. Heated boot racks would’ve been good to have. Doorbells are often mistaken for light switches which is annoying when other guests ring your doorbell instead of turning on the lights. Water pressure was very weak in the shower.

Beds comfy but could be cleaner as some dirt was left on the beds when we arrived. Rooms are very warm thanks to the radiators. Staff very friendly.

The reception wasn’t the most inviting and had a odour to it but think due to dampness of people walking in and out with snow boots on

The pool area and sauna, along with how close it was to the slopes amazing location and easy to access for children’s ski lessons. Also ski shops a 2 minute walk away to get ski stuff and restaurants nearby, jeux main town around a 10 minute walk away

Room was very noisy being near the hotel lift and bin/recycle.

Staff were excellent and the location was good for skiing.

Hotel really is ski-in/ski-out. 2 min walk to lift, and can ski to the road just across from hotel.

A protected location for bike storage would be a lot better. Unfortunately one of our bikes was stolen right in front of the entrance at midday (14:00), the lock we used to tie them was cut clean. Then we had to resort to carry the (remaining) bikes in our room everyday and leave them on the balcony, sacrificing cleaness (often bikes were dusty and dripping) and comfort (balcony was no longer usable)

Quiet location, sauna, pool under the sun all the time, fantastic view (our room balcony was facing South), usable kitchenette, bar and restourant in ground floor

The rooms were very dirty. No clean sheets and it seemed like it wasent cleaned properly. The price is way too high for what you are getting for this hygiene. I would not stay here again.

Staff was nice and explained everything very clearly. Location was great and very close to the lifts.

This is billed as a 4 star property on booking.com. The staff admitted to me that it is not a 4 star property. It’s fairly basic and is a self-catering apartment. Not at all a 4 star hotel

The pool. We choose this residence especially for the pool and it was closed the whole week because of 'technical issues'. I completely understand that it can happen but we couldn't get a refund. Even though we could've picked a similar place for 200euro less without a pool in the same village.

The appartment was fine, would be quit small for 6 tho but for 2 of 4 persons it's okay.

Long overdue for refit. Looks like the last one was in the 90s. Stained mattress covers, mold in bathroom, dodgy leaking toilet cistern plumbing, loose electrical sockets. I realise the general standard of reasonably priced Alpe D'Huez apartments is very low, so by these standards the accommodation is probably average for the area. Having stayed in another Pierre & Vacance the previous year, I was expecting it to be poor, and was not surprised, but I was on a budget and it served its function as a place to crash after a day on the slopes.

Excellent location - virtually ski to door. Handy location for transfer bus pick up and drop off.

Convenient to lifts, ski hire, has a great restaurant, very helpful staff, pleasant well equipped apartments. Right next to Ben’s Bus stop for Grenoble airport transfer
