Sebastian was the most welcoming host. He was very attentive. He even offered to drive us to the railway station with our luggage, which we declined. Location was very good and easy walking distance into the centre. Breakfast outside on the terrace was perfect with plenty of choice. Having space above a normal bedroom made our stay more relaxing.

A fair walk to the centre but only about 20 mins.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure to stay in a less formal environment and be able to chat with the hosts and other guests. The apartment was lovely and very well equipped with a lounge area and roof terrace. Lovely breakfast. Easy secure parking on site.

The only drawback was it was a twenty minute walk to the town centre or 10 minute taxi ride

I loved everything about this apartment, my only regret was not staying longer. Artistically decorated, well equipped, well located, wonderful breakfast - the hosts were very kind and gave me excellent restaurant tips and city highlights recommendations. Hopefully I'll be back soon 😊

Spotlessly clean. Comfortable. Kusmi Tea’s served (import these to drink at home) as the best. Decor and art stunning. Lovely sun terrace which we would have enjoyed had it been dry. Off road gated parking.

it was a reasonable walk to the centre of town and we walked through an area that was quite threatening, so much so that we did not want to risk the return journey in the dark, so ordered a cab. I would advise anyone to stick to the main road and not attempt a short cut.

Everything! The appartment is beautiful and tastefully designed and decorated. The hosts are very welcoming and attentive, sharing information about the city. Our room and facilities were immaculate and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast is outstanding, a delicious start to the day served on the beautiful terrace. Although a bit of a walk to the historical quarter we would definitely stay again as this beautifully presented home accommodation is hard to find Thank you Guys

Nothing, although be prepared for a 15-20 minute walk to the centre. We tended to stay out for the day and eat slightly earlier rather than walk back and forth.

The owners of this beautiful property share their home with you in an open and trusting way. It is like a tardis! We had a “wing” to ourselves and although we met fellow travellers at breakfast we never felt we were encroached upon.

It was lovely.. easy to stay in

Very nice large comfortable self contained apartment. The owners obviously have great appreciation and love of the arts as seen by the decor in their fabulous home. We arrived early afternoon and were lucky to be granted access by the daughter who happened to be home. They provided a small lite breakfast on the patio/ courtyard of their private living area. Easy 10 min walk into the centre and private secure parking for our car. Carrefour just close -2mins.

Another couple of pillows for them bed would have been welcome.

Our hosts were impeccable! So friendly and helpful. The room was clean and access to kitchen facilities with a great outdoor area to sit and eat and drink was a real bonus. The upstairs deck with small pool and shower area was a great place to relax at the end of the day with a glass of wine.

Sebastian and Michel were the most fantastic, kind, and attentive hosts. The BEST there is. We loved the excellently-maintained modern and well-equipped apartment, the attention to detail, the art work, and the scholarly atmosphere given that we too are scholars and very much interested in the La Premier Guerre Mondiale and international affairs.
