How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

However the place is on the smaller side, especially the kitchen is very tiny. It's ok for one person or a couple but less so for a larger families
Location, it's at the heart of a Strasbourg, you walk out of the property and you are there. I and my kid liked the sleeping space on top of the attic above the room. I also liked the authenticity of the room and the building itself, especially the old wooden squeaky staircase leading to the room, it adds to the authenticity, although a bit of an exercise to get to the top floor especially with all the luggage.

Very hot in the upstairs sleeping area, cooling system seemed to have run out of batteries. Good to fix it for when it gets even hotter.
Beautiful, confortable appartment. Ok walking distance grom the trains and notre dame, etc in the other direction

It was a little run down: there was a leak in the bathroom and from the kitchen window.

The drip coffee maker must be replaced, it was disgustingly dirty in the water tank. Stains and dust. Thankfully we saw it before making the first coffee. Even after cleaning it ourselves, some dirt remained as crust inside it. Just unacceptable. In general, the kitchen was not very clean
Great location, nice apartment. Small but cozy and space well used for a few days.

The fact that there is NO bed linen!! I have never been to stay at any accommodation before that does not have bed Linen, we were told to bring our own but we’re already travelling. Oh and no towels provided.
The location is absolutely fantastic, could not be better. Apartment is literally a few hundred meters from everything.

It was on the 4th floor with a tiny stairs. For senior ppl, it was not recommended. Also it is really hard to carried your luggage on the stairs. Also there was no mattress and towel, you have to bring your own.
The apartment is clean and comfy. I was nervous about the cleaness because the reviews but it is clean. The kitchen smells but it is ok. The lighting is good for your sleep and the owner is very nice. You can actually fit 6 people (we were in Pascal on the 4th floor) there are 1 queen bed and twin beds and 2 sofa where you can sleep. Toilette and shower room are separated. There is also a dining table. It was warm. It was clean. It was ok.

The fact that the bathroom was located in the bedroom was a little incovenient for those sleeping in the living room.
Excelent location, really close to the main station and the old town, the apartament had everything needed for a pleasent stay.

The flat is much simpler that in the pictures It has everything as per description but the look is simple.
Great location, very central. Easy access to the old town.. The owner responsive and helpful. You can use public parking (not clean at all but not the owner's fault) and he gives the discount card. Convenient self check in

The property is on the second floor accessed via a steep, narrow staircase, making it difficult to haul luggage up. Much of the crockery, cutlery and pans were dirty. The property lists “parking” on their listing. The parking that is available is a €20 per day public carpark which has a 1.9M height restriction (as do all public carparks in Strasbourg. This meant that our 2.1m high vehicle (roof box put us over height) had to be parked in Germany, a train and bus ride away. We phoned ahead and asked about the parking, as we wanted to check the height, and the host said he would get back to us to let us know, but never did. For Brits considering driving in Strasbourg, you must also have a French vehicle emissions sticker (obtainable online) otherwise you can apparently be fined. There was insufficient hot water as the boiler appeared to shut down one morning and we couldn’t figure out a quick fix.
Good central location in Strasbourg, close to the train station and old town. The air conditioning was strong and effective.

Perfect location. A cozy, equipped accommodation, good heating, a hot spring, and a comfortable bed. Just bring sheets and towels, but that doesn't mean it was excellent. Thank you so much.

Kitchen is old, with no exaustion and clearly not fit to cook. The photos don´t correspond with the house and it has too many stuff scattered all over the place. I´ll not use this again.

Looks bigger than it actually is. Apartment is on the fourth floor. No available parking although it says it has in the page.
