Old, unique, unusual. Loved it. Quiet. Great location to center of town and yet off the main tourist route. Loved the small restaurants in the very immediate vicinity. Short walk to Les Halles.

Not really.

The location is exceptional, right in the heart of the town, next to the palace of the pope and the commercial street. It’s convenient to go everywhere. The accommodation is a historic building itself, very spacious and quiet. The facilities help guests to be able to do almost anything routine in everyday life. We were warmly welcomed in and all instructions were clear. Thank you!

Shower was a bit awkward, hostess was hard to reach using her communication preference of what’s app. Lack of appliance instructions in English. New bedding would be nice. Would benefit from someone living in building for faster response. This would not keep us from staying there again though…we loved it.

Large, lots of history, nice mix of old and new.quiet side street convenient to everything. Great restaurants nearby.

We stayed in this incredibly well-preserved roomy apartment for 6 days. The apartment is extremely well appointed, according to its history and conveniently located for travel, restaurants and supermarket items. Everything was spotlessly clean and worked perfectly. We particularly liked the coziness of this space, and the historical feel. We looked forward to returning every evening after experiencing what Avignon had to offer each day.

This apartment is exceptional, the communication with the host was absolutely brilliant. The photos do not do this apartment justice, it is the size of a house and beautifully decorated. The location is incredible, my family and I didn't want to leave.

This apartment is huge! And so comfortable, with 2 sitting rooms. There is no air conditioning, but plenty of fans keep things cool. It is very close to the bustle of Place d’Horloge but in a very quiet square. Bernadette the host was very quick to respond to messages, and was very helpful, even arranging 2 separate taxis to the station. Do yourself a favour in Avignon and rent this apartment!

The shower over the bath was fairly basic with a poor flow of water. Regardless of the fact we could call or text the host who spoke good English, there were no instructions about the property and what to do on departure which would be helpful. The weather was hot for September but to stop the rather vicious midges from biting we had to keep them almost closed - however there were very good fans in every room to keep the temperature comfortable.

We liked the speciousness and airiness of this elegant property which was more like staying in someone's home rather than a holiday let. The equipment available was extensive Bernadette the host was very helpful and kind. The apartment was centrally placed yet very quiet and tranquil, and in easy reach of all the attractions of Avignon. The host recommended an excellent restaurant a few metres walk from the apartment.

The apartment is right in the centre of town with easy access to the historical centre, good restaurants and parking. The hosts son Rayane was very helpful throughout our visit. I would also recommend the free parking in Avignon (parking des Italiens) with a free shuttle bus close to the apartment.

Great historical apartment in the heart of Avignon. Very large and comfortable in a great location (right next to the Palais des Papes). It was a little challenging to find the apartment the first time, but once we knew where it was located it was perfect. Even though it's right in the heart of Avignon, it was very quiet. Parking was convenient and less than 5 minutes away, a supermarket was within a 10 minute walk, as well as a bakery and other stores. Having a washing machine and iron available was very helpful.

It was all good.

The location was fantastic. The apartment is in a very small quiet courtyard yet only a few minutes walk from the Palais des papers, the museums and the shops. We were also extremely happy with the warm welcome and detailed information that we received from Bernadette and her son.
