How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The room was a little small for 4 people. We were just there one night, breaking up a long drive from Surrey to Zurich, so it didn't matter that much. All the beds were pretty much touching to squeeze them in.
The pool was lovely - great size and loads of loungers to relax after our long drive. The were nice pubs and restaurants easily walkable from the hotel. A giant Auchan is a couple of minutes away. Staff were friendly, hotel was clean, water refill station near the lifts.

Would have been nice to use the room card to activate the EV charging instead of having to get someone from reception.
The room was clean and functional. The bathroom was newly renovated, and the shower was great. The air con in the room was also nice and quiet, which is rare in hotels. The breakfast buffet was also very well stocked and with good variety. As a bonus, they have EV charging points.

Lots of families and young kids running riot, not the hotels fault, just be prepared
Good location for an overnight when travelling. Pool looks good, but have stayed here twice and always seems to rain when we are there so haven’t used it

Our visit (August) seemed to be a busy one. While enjoying diner the personnel wasnt able to clean up other tables of people finishing their diner or drinks. I think they were understaffed. Food was good, pricing and service excellent so not too much complains here
Room and beds are very comfortable. Decent shower. Coffee and thee available in room. Quiet. Safe free wide parking places available. Good restaurant, quick service and good quality food. Everything you need if you require a place to stay the night in route to or back from your holiday destination.

Staff could be more attentive and friendly.
Location close to the motorway junction and many local facilities like restaurants and shops. Great stopover en route to Italy. Nice pool, amenities and restaurant.

Very nice efficient hotel, suitable for through travelers to the south of France or for exploring Nancy. Easy access to local shops and restaurants and a nearby running track. Easily accessible from the highway

Felt awful walking over the floors as the cleaner had just mopped.
After a journey each way to Italy it was the perfect location to sit down unwind a glass of wine and a meal along with a good nights sleep.

They room key goes off 15 minutes before checkout which made us go back to reception twice to fix it.
We used this hotel on our way back to UK. Access from the motorway was very easy. Modern and stylish hotel. Bed very comfy and air conditioner perfectly working. Outdoor swimming pool was a great bonus my kid really enjoyed it. Staff very helpful and nice.

Tables placed too close together in restaurant. We had to wriggle past people sitting on chairs. Staff should provide breakfast trays as you find yourself going in and out for good.

Staff on reception were lacking reception skills. Didn't make us feel welcome and weren't helpful. No eye contact. Did the bare minimum. Opposite experience to the staff running the bar / restaurant who were friendly, if not overstretched. Reception staff didn't bother to help them even though non one was checking in
Hotel modern, very clean and had an outdoor pool. Secure parking too.

The postcode provided took us to a secluded forest along a dirt track. It was dark and my children were scared. Once we got back on route and added the address rather than the postcode we found the hotel fine, and it was a completely different way to where the postcode had taken us.

Not a 'didn't like' just a comment - We couldn't seem to cool the room down other than thermostat to zero - no cold air. Not a complaint, maybe I didn't use it properly and I am sure the staff would have helped if I had asked them. If you struggle - ask someone.
