Very friendly and helpful staff. We arrived late at night in heavy rain and could not use the underground car park because of our roof top box. Very friendly night porter let us park in front of the entry, which was extremely helpful with the kids not waking up and having a safe parking spot. Breakfast was tasty and rich in selection. Location is great for the proximity to the musee des confluences and connection to public transport via tram to city center. We would have loved to with the kids explore the river banks and gerland park area close to the hotel, but rain prevented further exploration.

Restaurant is decent but the Cote du Rhone wine sold by glass is undrinkable. It was not corked or defekt, just of extreme low quality. Checked it on Vivinos and was not surprised that it had a 3,5 rating. How is it possible that a hotel and its restaurant just a few hundred meters from the Rhone river and just a 30 minutes drive from some of Cote du Rhones best wine producers serve this wine? Also at 6 euros a glas, changed it for a glass of Beaujolais. Which was correct.

Quick checkin. Friendly staff, all great.

Parking was full despite having paid for the space (15 euro a day) We had to park in FedEx reserved spots. To get to the city centre you have to take a car or bus.. We considered the restaurant quite expensive for what you get

Nice pool area and good rooms. Close to the museum des Confluences and a large shopping mall at 20 min walking distance

In general it could be more clean, specially the windows around the pool where very dirty.

Very good location, small rooms for 4 persons but modern.

We decided to get a bite to eat in the restaurant and my daughter being 4 and picky only wanted cucumber, was a bit mortified when we got the bill to find we’d been charged for a full price adult salad (around €13 if I remember correctly) for a bowl of cucumber. Personal preference but the windows were like double windows but there was no barriers and you turned the handle to unlock them, which made my stomach turn as my daughter’s sofa bed was directly next to the window, so we ended up moving the sofa bed away from the window.

We were only in Lyon around 12 hours so didn’t see much of the hotel or area but had a nice stay overall. Parking was good, if not a little long winded to get to and the staff at the hotel reception desk were friendly.

The cleaning crew was knocking at the door very early on the day we had to depart. They came 3 times before 10am. A bit annoying.

The breakfast is outstanding. The beds are comfortable but not especially big. Room service is good.

The teddy bears in the foyer. Whilst we appreciate they were for the benefit of families travelling with children they just lowered the tone of the foyer.
