Although there was a kettle in the room there were no ordinary teabags(only herbal ones) and no milk so could only have black coffee.

Would prefer for the toilet to be within the bathroom, but assume it’s usual in France for it to be separate.

Location was excellent. Also nearby there were plenty of places to eat for dinner which was a bonus. The room was clean and comfortable.

Very good quality breakfast, different choices incl healthy and natural ingredients. We also liked that the hotel follows environmental side and tries to eliminate too much waste eg we could top up our water bottles in the corridor, in the breakfast eg the butter was in big block and everybody had to take only what they needed and jam was in glass jars and not in small plastic pots, room cards were made from bamboo like in Lyon Novotel where also door signs were made from bamboo.

Too few towels in bathroom for a family room. The room was ok in size but I have stayed in bigger family rooms in other Novotel hotels.

Location was great for getting into Beaune. Easy off the motorway too. Pool was a bonus and a lovely temperature as well arrived and it was pretty hot. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was great with Rituals shower gels etc.

Quite a way from centre of Beaune (40 minute walk). Service at the bar too slow once restaurant open but, really, all good

Excellent facilities for kids, great outdoor pool, good bar and restaurant served original, well prepared dishes served quickly and efficiently - friendly reception staff, comfortable room/bed, cold drinking water on tap. Easy parking.

The room was little hot and the air conditioning had been locked so it couldn’t go lower than 22.

Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite live up to expectations, especially considering the price. The hotel felt quite basic and lacked character — more of a functional stopover than a place you'd want to spend any real time. For the rate we paid, we expected a bit more comfort and quality. The room was clean but uninspiring, and the overall atmosphere felt dated and impersonal. It served its purpose as a place to rest for the night, but we wouldn’t choose it again unless absolutely necessary. There are likely better options in the area that offer more value and charm for the same or even lower price.

Unfortunately the temperature of the room was not as cool as we like. Even though in theory you could change the settings via a box in the room the overriding hotel setting meant that we were very hot during the night. The price this visit was double what we paid last year. I assumed that the reason was that we were in a higher season, however I did a price comparison for the week after our stay and was offered a price closer to last years price. So I will be more attentive when booking again.

We loved our stop over here. It was our second time. The staff were very polite and the food was delicious. Our room was spacious and the beds very comfortable.
