Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomVery minor issue, but please consider providing more loungers around the pool area. There was plenty of space.
The lodges appeared new and were spotlessly clean. All facilities were provided in the lodge that we needed. Pool was huge and loved the ‘beach’ around the pool area. Didn’t use all the facilities on the site so couldn’t comment on those. Shop was very good with an excellent bakery just off site. Had very little contact with the staff other than Consierge who were very helpful.

SwitzerlandWe paid a lot in the peak season (first week of August) and were questioning if it was worth it. The area had a lot of things, but it was very spread apart. No info was giver to us about the programs or events. We had to ask around and get an app that had the details. So we missed some of the things in the first two days which we thought would be very interesting. Apartment was handed over to us clean but not so clean. There were cobwebs in the corners and sides of the patio in several places. We also paid extra for the linens and towels wedding which we were expecting. But overall, we were still very satisfied with our stay.
Location, convenience for going to the beach or pool, beautiful area, easy restaurants and supermarket and shops close to the beach, shallow water in the beach for non swimmers.

United KingdomI wouldn't eat here. They're catering for Brits, Germans and Dutch with their food. I doubt the French would touch it with a baguette. Also rather silly that sheets and towels aren't included, so you have to pay extra on arrival.
Simple mobile home, but very clean and with effective air conditioning. Great facilities on site (supermarket, boulangerie, bike hire, etc.). Fantastic swimming pool. Great location for beach and port Grimaud.

DenmarkThe access to our mobilehome which was more or less blocked by trees and bushes… after a couple of days three gartners came and removed most of it so it became possible to enter without having to “climb through it” :-)
The campsite was great with everything you need. During our stay there was a music festival with live concerts every night. The campsite is located just a few minutes walk from beautiful Port Grimaud which is a must visit. St Tropez can be reached within aprx 30 minutes drive.

SwitzerlandSome bungalows are located to the channel that stinks when dried out (not their fault but for someone who is very sensitive could be a problem). Swimming pool although very big could have some even small slides for kids, jacuzzi, bubbles, etc.
Very good location with access to the lake. Super friendly stuff. Great animations for kids.

SpainThe fact that towels, sheets and cleaning products are not included was a surprise considering the p/night was +220 €. I missed it in the description since it’s never happened to me before. We were also unlucky that the fridge stopped working the first night
All the services available Very nice place, great pool and beach Nice touch the wine, water and biscuits as welcoming/farewell

AustraliaThese lodges are part of an enormous park with hundreds of cabins on sandy sites. Very popular with families. You may end up with very noisy neighbours who party until the wee small hours or screaming children 24/7!!
We chose this site as we were meeting friends staying in the adjoining campervan site. The 2 bed cabin was very clean & comfortable and met all our needs. Grounds and facilities are beautifully maintained.

United KingdomWe had a delayed check in which was unfortunate but the staff did make appropriate amends. We also struggled with ants but again staff did what they could to help. The rooms are quite small and probably nearing refurbishment but a good base.
The location and facilities within the resort are excellent. The staff were also excellent and there is a good choice of restaurants both on and off site. The walk into port grimaud only takes a few minutes. We had a couple of issues while there but my impression is that were were just unlucky with our particular situation rather than any systemic issues. Staff did what they could to help put things right. Despite those issues I would happily visit again

SwitzerlandThey are removing the old mobiles homes and replacing it with newer which is a great addition, I feel the new disposition provides less privacy and a bit more crowded - but I guess when the recently planted bushed grow a bit more this won't be the case. Our mobile home was off balanced, which means that when someone was walking on one side the opposite would vibrate quite allot. Mobile home wasnt delivered properly cleaned.
Staff was kind enough to accommodate us in a quite area, additionally they greeted us with a nice bottle of wine. The mobile home was good and "new". Wi-fi was great, allowed me to work from the location providing us the possibility to stay longer. Overall a very pleasant stay, we will return!

United KingdomThe one thing this place is missing is a good kids pool - my children (3 and 7) wanted water slides and to play with a ball (not allowed) - the pool at this site is beautiful but much more geared towards adults, which is odd for a campsite that is so obviously designed to attract families. They have lots of space and this would be a worthwhile addition. Linen also not included which is frustrating for such a high end property. Other campsites in the area are perhaps better value for money, but we were there in peak season.
Great location, lovely beach, nice play areas, lodges are great, fairly spacious and well equipped, staff really helpful. The campsite has a lovely beach resort feel - central area with restaurants/bar/amusement park has nightly live music and a great ambiance. Good supermarket on site but expensive so worth bringing some essentials with you.

United KingdomIn late July it was just too busy. The pool was so busy you couldn’t move and despite 100s of sun beds it was impossible to find one. The beach was also very busy. We were there in extreme heat 36+ which definitely tainted our stay - but we found the cabins to be basic and it’s very expensive. for the money you can buy a much more enjoyable holiday. I bet it’s lovely in May
The activities and other facilities included are great and the resort is beautiful. The tangerine restaurant is a lovely place for dinner and the staff were friendly.

United KingdomI did not like the fact that towels and bed linen were an additional cost considering the cost of the stay. There was nowhere near enough sun beds at the pool even though there is plenty of space there to add more beds. As it is so hot in the daytime, some floodlights on the sports facilities would be beneficial as then we would be able to play all the sports later in the evening when it's a bit cooler.
Travelled as a family of 5 (11 and 15 year old boys, husband, and mother in law). The places we ate onsite were very good, our fave was the Picnic. Reasonable prices and very good quality. Staff were very polite throughout the resort. The location is fantastic. We liked the fact that within 10 minutes, we were at the port with a selection of good restaurants and a lovely atmosphere. We also caught the taxi boat over to St Tropez (even though we had hired a car we fancied travelling by boat as well). St tropez is beautiful, lots of nice restaurants and bars and plenty of shops. Particularly nice in the evening, when the market was there. We loved the sports facilities very clean and tidy and of a high standard. We also liked the complimentary shuttle buggy as we were staying the furthest point away from the pool, so it was a welcome alternative to walking all the time in the 37-degree heat!
