Moulin royale was the most beautiful place we've ever stayed, it truly felt like an escape to nature, peaceful and quiet. The room was lovely and exquisitely decorated from top to bottom. The bed was extremely comfortable and my personal favourite part was the window that opened out to the stream. The bathroom was nice and spacious and had a lovely deep bath that I thoroughly enjoyed at the end of each night, as well as the shower with stone flooring and a rainfall shower head that felt gorgeous. The pool area was stunning, with comfy seats and a salt water heated pool. The grounds were breathtakingly beautiful with a lovely seating area by the stream, and a stunning fountain. Mohammad greeted us at the gate and showed us our room and walked us around the property telling us the history, which we thought was a nice touch to get to know the place we were going to be staying in for the next four days. He made sure we were comfortable and even helped us order food as our french was limited. He had excellent house keeping and made sure our room was fresh every day so it felt like we were arriving for the first time. The Ubers and taxi's were virtually non existent which we didn't know prior to our visit, but Mohammad sorted it out for us which was very kind of him and definitely took a weight off our shoulders. Wade not only drove us to places we planned, but also stopped at points along the way to show us things he thought we'd enjoy, and it was just perfect, it definitely made our trip a 1000% better. He was a very lovely man and we enjoyed getting to know him. Both Mohammad and Wade were the most perfect host and we can't wait to come back.

Absolutely gorgeous place and gorgeous rooms. Beautiful outside pool. Excellent host and delicious and varied breakfast. Very close to a fantastic castle.

Amazing place!Everything was to perfection, from the rooms and breakfast to the swimming pool with perfect temperature.Owners/hosts couldn't do enough and made our stay very special.If you want to explore the nearest village of Pierrefonds just 8 min drive away were you can find restaurants and magnificent castle.Would highly recommended Moulin Royal to everyone.

There is only one thing I would like to see added and that is some shade of some sort around the pool. A few large umbrellas would be great on a hot day ⛱️

What’s not to like, it’s a little bit of paradise in the French countryside. Such a beautiful place which is truly a labour of love ❤️ Both Wade and Mohamed were friendly, helpful guys who gave lots of advice on what to do in the area and where to eat. Would definitely love to return.

Moulin Royale is superbly appointed, with attention to detail top of the list. The welcome was perfect, the host/owner is a very genial guy with a great sense of humour. We couldn’t fault the grounds of the hotel or location in general. An excellent stay, we would highly recommend it!

There is nothing we didn’t like here.

This place is a dream! spacious room and bathroom, very complete, clean, comfortable, great breakfast, very quiet and many places to visit from here out. We were welcomed very kindly and also when we left. We will definitely need to come back here some time.

It was a bit too off the beaten track for us as we just wanted a stopover for the chunnel, I could have researched that better probably. For someone staying longer though it would be lovely.

Needed to get to the Euro tunnel which was around 2.5 hours away, therefore left early but owner kindly provided a basket of food for breakfast the night before. Lovely historic castle in next village and plenty of forest walks and wildlife. Paris is quite near if you wanted to visit for a day trip.

Everything was just perfect. i have just a tiny complaint. The TV is a incredibly complicated to use. 2 remote controls, lots of options... it is too much for me.

Very good. Right on time, good coffee and croissant. I had more than expected the room i had was tastefully decorated and the property is very beautiful. Shame i did not see it under the sun
