Chaminda who was in charge of breakfast was exceptionally courteous and helpful. The duty manager when we arrived was also extremely helpful. She upgraded our room due to a late cancellation

Location was excellent with a lovely view of the Lot. Staff was extremely kind and helpful and the onsite restaurant was very convenient and good! On site parking and convenient free bus stop in front of the property made it easy to get to centre ville easy.

When we left we forgot to empty the safe and when we returned the next day( having telephoned the hotel to explain the situation) we were not allowed to enter the unoccupied room for our goods.They said the hotel manager would not allow them to do that. We had just spent 6 nights in their hotel and also spent over 1100 euros in their hotel so being forbidden to enter our now un occupied room to retrieve our goods seemed most un reasonable. I was extremely unimpressed.

Perfect location by the river, absolutely gorgeous room, very spacious and with a fabulous balcony overlooking the beautiful river! The only negative is that the restaurant was closed but the young lady in reception very kindly booked a lovely restaurant in town for us. A very good breakfast was available in a beautiful setting overlooking the river.

This is our third stay at this hotel, and it definitely won't be our last. It's a lovely hotel not far from the centre, and it's not possible to fault it. The atmosphere is one of peacefulness and tranquillity, and an ideal place to relax. The staff are lovely, very friendly and will easily go that extra mile. As we have stayed before, albeit travelling through the region, we decided this time that this was the ideal hotel, with it's lovely staff, to look after us well for a few days - and they did. We travelled with our dog, who sadly had gone suddenly blind recently, and were worried about how she would cope. I contacted them at time of booking about her, and they accommodated her very well, and the room they chose for her was ideal. Thank you to all the staff, we look forward to seeing you again in a couple of months.

Waking up very morning to a view of the river was just so lovely. Usually there was a little boat with someone fishing & people canoeing. And later in the morning more people using their river to do their various activities. The beds & pillows were very comfortable.

Replenishing the complimentary teas in the room would have been nice. For example if you drank the teas in the room herbal or otherwise you didn't get another top up. But there was freedom to take a snack from the breakfast table if you wanted to. Next time I would just take a couple of tea bags from the breakfast room. The decor of the breakfast room was beautiful, as were the fleur de lis patterns in the room.

Breakfast was amazing everyday. A great deal of variety. The use of the safe was assuring to not to have to carry valuables around. The room was gorgeous, stylish and comfortable. Being able to sit on the balcony and watch the sunrise each morning was very satisfying. Also I thought the names of the rooms were very interesting which created some genuine discussions as to the thought behind it. The surroundings were just breathtaking a truly delightful experience.
