It was a shame the garden area was a bit over grown and not used as much as it could be. Such a fascinating place and Ingos knowledge is amazing and he made it really interesting. Could do a lot more with the gardens and giving tours of the mill etc

Ingo was an excellent host, could not do enough for us. Room was lovely and so was the food A definite bonus was the dog and cat and the gorgeous 8 day old rescue puppy, Sofi. Ingo had a heart of gold, made us so welcome and was happy to help in anyway Ingo has an excellent knowledge of the area and it's history and have some great recommendations for days out and food

Beautiful setting, a uniquely restored water mill. Breakfast was out of this world; all fresh homemade regional produce. The host was extremely kind and helpful. I would love to come back one day!!

A wonderful surprise our last stop on a 10 days hike and everything was great the room very spacious and comfortable it felt like home. The owner served us a delicious meal and the breakfast was very good too. We will come back soon

Outstanding, Don't be put off by entrance. Bedrooms and breakfast room are immaculate. Thoughtful extras - fruit and sweets in the bedroom. Excellent breakfast. Helpful and attentive owner.

Honestly not much, perhaps a lock on the door, which would be great.

Loved the breakfast and the company, it was really nice to get to know each other. Our dog was treated like a little queen and even had a bed and doggy bowls as well as a treat for her stay. The room was amazing, we had an amazing view on the river. There were many small gestures which were so nice to have.

Frederic is an excellent host. Spacious well furnished room and comfortable bed coupled with a quiet location and fabulous breakfast spread made for a relaxing two days. I shall stay here again.

The building and the décor were amazing, breakfast was copious and very tasty. Our dog was very happy too with his personal dog basket. Cherry on the top was Ingo - really a fantastic and friendly host. Briefly, it's a place you cannot miss!

Lovely big quiet bedroom, (3 bedrooms are accessed up an open tread stsircase through an old barn) dog friendly ( the host has 2 dogs and one cat himself). Wide range of things available at breakfast. Good evening meal NB the host prefers to only cook when there are more than 2 persons wanting dinner. The host is very hands on and is always there to help and provide extras

Very warm and welcoming host, very comfortable and tasteful accommodation, delicious evening meal prepared for us (so we didn't need to get back on our bikes to go and find a restaurant!) and excellent breakfast. Made to feel very welcome - nothing was too much trouble. We even had our washing done for us! Very quirky too, which we really liked. Can't fault in any way.

We would only suggest that if the owner were allowed to put a sign for his "hotel" at the nearest junction in the village, it would be quite a bit easier to find!

We loved everything. Location is super, the breakfast was super too. The host is absolutely wonderful, supportive, kind! Ingo (the host) met us with two cold beers in a very hot day. We were thrilled with his kindness and support. We had our dog with us and indeed, it is a paradise for dogs. I can't say enough about this wonderful place and the host! Thank you so muchm Ingo!!!! What a unique hidden gem. Feels like a big mancave, with the owner being a very friendly and welcoming paradise bird. Nice, spacious and clean rooms with good beds and comfortable bathrooms. Owner serves a very nice and original table d hote. Breakfast is very good. Great location to explore the very beautiful area, trails and historic sites.

Entrance is a bit unusual - looks a bit ‘quirky’ and looks a bit like a workshop. But once inside - it is lovely.

Fantastic welcoming host - fruit and sweets in the room and the host offered to wash clothes for us if we wanted. Very comfortable room Exceptional food - restaurant standard, all cooked by the host. We would come back
