Great location and friendly helpful staff. We had a triple room which had enough space for two adults and a child of 14. 10 minute walk from Cité. 5 minutes from the old Latin Quarter. 10 minutes from filming location for Emily in Paris (wife watches it). Two Metro stations close by - for the Gare De Nord use Monge. Supermarket about 50 metres away.

Loved everything. The rooms are a bit tiny, but we didn't spend much time in there to be honest. I mean you're in Paris - you should be out and out soaking everything the gorgeous city has to offer

The hotel staff were just incredible. From the minute I stepped foot into the hotel, I was greeted with warm, bright smiles and kindness. Nothing was too difficult, the service was simple impeccable. When the hotel manager, Salume found out it was my birthday she surprised me with a bottle of champagne delivered to the room. Bianc and Salume also researched and provided some great restaurant recommendations to celebrate my birthday, and given it was a public holiday and at short notice, it wasn't an easy feat. Nevertheless, they suggested a great restaurant in Le Marais, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you so much, team Hotel Monge. Vous etes vraiment geniale! Also, the breakfast was a great spread every morning. And there was L'Occitane toiletries. The attention to detail was great.

The staff were amazing and very accommodating and helpful with everything. They made our stay very comfortable and as it was my sisters birthday, they made it extra special by leaving her a little gift in the room. Always very eager to help and always with a smile.

Location was a little bit far from main attractions, however caveat is that we came in early August when many Parisians including students were away so many shops and restaurants were closed.

Staff were outstanding and room was comfortable and very clean. Complimentary tea and coffee facilities were nice and honesty bar was a nice bonus.

It would be great if the steam room could stay open a little later (currently the last booking is for 7pm), say until 9 or 10pm. I also missed having a tea kettle in the room.

A very nice boutique hotel in an excellent location, close to two metro lines and bus stops. The rooms, though small, are well designed with an efficient use of space, and also tastefully decorated. I stayed for three nights in a 6/F room that opened up to a little balcony, and for one night in a 1/F room that opened up to a little patio. They are both very comfortable and quiet. I appreciated the free tea and coffee in the lounge as well as the honesty bar, and also enjoyed the steam room. Above all, the staff provided exceptional service. I requested a quiet room and they really took the trouble to arrange it. They also stored my luggage with no extra charge in between the two parts of my stay, and had it waiting for me in the room when I returned to Paris from a side trip. I would stay here again, and would recommend it to other travelers.

Disappointed re lack of tea making facilities in bedroom -to be fair was on info but we missed it -very generous offer of free drinks in lounge but as you are out most of the time it is hard to make most of this -poor breakfast-not value for money

There is a little bit of train noise. It is not the fault of the hotel, but you can hear faintly the metro train as it travels near the hotel.

This is a lovely hotel that maximises its appeal by hiring simply amazing staff. The building and rooms are lovely, clean and well appointed. The staff were exceptional. All of them. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, they couldn’t have done more to help us during our stay. From the best places to eat to the best places to visit and miss the crowds on a weekend, they were brilliant.

The only negative is the location, in a somewhat rundown part of the Left Bank

Very well presented and staffed, boutique hotel. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were the usual "Paris-small" but excellently done. Showers were great and the bed comfortable .

Cannot think of one thing I disliked.

I loved absolutely EVERYTHING about this hotel - couldn't be more pleased. Would absolutely book again and recommend to anyone. Excellent location, helpful and charming staff, beautiful boutique hotel!
