The apartment was close to station and local shops. The TV had english channels streaming and live. Kitchen was well fitted out and fridge was a good size.

It's hard to find it as google maps show sth different- it would be adviseable to send the pin.. The old fashined windows plus doors make it hard to air a stuffy flat. The 6th floor makes the flat hot- no air-conditioning and it's really drafty.when you open the windows..

The view from the 6th floor, the lift to get there. It's a specious flat with a big living room, a comfortoble bedroom and well-equipped kitchen . It's a short walk from the station and not that far from the Castle.

View, great location, easy access to parking, shops , restaurants, great walks in all directions. Safe and homely feel, well equipped a really good base for experiencing Carcassonne which is a lovely little town . Thoroughly recommend

I'm a bit lazy so the only thing that would have made the experience better would have been to have parking on site but having the authentic experience of living in a place that felt like a home away from home made it definitely worthwhile staying at this property. The parking station wasn't far and for €20 we were able to arrange parking for 7 days that gave us unlimited access in and out of the parking station whenever we wanted. The gentleman who set up our parking access was most helpful. Clearer signage to the entrance of the apartment would have been beneficial also.

It felt like a home away from home. Very grateful that the apartment block had a lift as the unit was on the top floor, hence the wonderful view. Plenty of room for us two big Aussies to relax in this charming "pied-a-terre”. Hhlandy to shops, cafes, bakeries and we even walked from the unit to La Cité with little exploratory stops on the way. We adored our visit to Carcassone and would happily be able to live there.

Very little. Our only suggestion would be to double-check the washing machine spin cycle on the quick wash (which appears to be not working) and/ or include an instruction manual for the washing machine.

Fantastic apartment in an excellent location, very handy for the train station and the 'new' town, and a pleasant walk up to the old town/citadel. There are amazing views from 3 of the 4 rooms, and we enjoyed seeing the citadel in different lights and at different times of day. The apartment was really well equipped, and we had everything we needed for our stay (including for making meals, doing laundry, etc.). The host was helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay here again if we came back to Carcassonne!

Old-fashioned, stiff, window mechanisms; don’t even try to roll the exterior shutters!

Four rooms made for spaciousness; great views across city to La Cité; proximity to car parking, eating and shopping; 25 minute walk to La Cité; quiet enough area despite inner-city activities; the place has been available for at least twelve years so fully equipped and stocked; well cared for; very efficiently run by promptly helping owners. Spotless on arrival. Church bells, clock and aeroplanes not intrusive.

The lock on the apartment door was very difficult. It was very old fashioned and did not always work the way we were told. At times we thought we were locked out before the mechanism finally worked. This should never happen. When told about the problem, the owner said he would attend to it after we were gone. There were a few other minor problems

The location was great. It was a short walk from the train station. The owners were very responsive to all our needs. The Carcassonne train station is in the process of modernization. There are no escalators or elevators, and there are many steps.

Driving to the location was a little challenging but accommodation in the centre of old towns is like that. Sharon’s instructions were clear and easy to follow. There was a cold snap and the building heaters were being serviced. Steve dropped off 2 heaters to us which was a great help and much appreciated.

Great location, in the Bastide, old town with amazing views across to the citadel. Awesome bedroom views of adjacent cathedral too. Easy walking to restaurants and La Cite. Parking (paid, good value €7 per day, underground) very close, but need to be aware the parking closes on evenings, Sundays and public holidays. Great communication from Sharon regarding checking in and more. Easy to access with lock box. Great to have an elevator for baggage to top floor. Everything in the apartment was good, especially a bonus to have English tv channels. Bed was a little uncomfortable for us, but that’s probably not everyone’s experience. Definitely a great place to stay when visiting Carcassonne.
