Good location for getting an early train through the tunnel, ample free parking around the hotel or secure parking in their garage for 10 Euros. Lots of places to eat close by. It's an older hotel, but it was clean and the beds were comfy.

The shower wasn’t the best - but I’ve also had much worse!

Great location right by the station and a bit away from the noisy town centre. Welcoming staff and some cool decor. The 24 hour desk was very handy as I was travelling at unusual times.

I couldn't find anything not to like.

The staff were very helpful. My French wasn't too good but thankfully they all spoke and understood English very well. My car was secure in their garage at a reasonable price. The location was perfect. Very central. The room was clean and very quiet. Facilities were suited to the price.

It smelt a bit stuffy when I arrived, but this went away when I opened the window. The toilet flush did not always turn off without some jiggling.

The bed was a decent sized single and the room more spacious than some other single rooms I have been in. It was a in a good location. It was quiet.

Nothing or I wouldn't keep rebooking!!!

Stayed here a few times before off the ferry, great value for money. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are basic but very comfortable, clean and all you really need. Nice beers at the bar and the breakfast is superb with plenty of choice. Short walk into Calais for bars and restaurants. The secure parking is great, especially for motorcyclists. Many thanks.

The corridor is a bit dark.

The trains could be heard from the room during the night/early morning.

Easy to locate, lobby was traditional French style. Staff were really friendly and spoke very good English. Parking was great. Location was good, easy walk to the beach and the town.

No internal soundproofing, as in many French hotels. Furnishings a little worn. Didn't bother me in general, except for a specific incident: the bedside lamp cable was frayed and damaged so there were loose wires without a protective cover. Unfortunately I did not notice this until too late.... The lamp didn't work and when trying to turn it on, I got an electric shock as I'd been inadvertently touching the loose wire! So please, please, fix your furnishings. Somewhat worn but clean carpets etc is fine. Faulty electricals are seriously dangerous and should not be there! Having said that, I did appreciate that the staff member came immediately to check the problem and replace with a working lamp.

Very convenient location right next to central train station. (And the bus station to take the free town buses.) Surprisingly quiet for a central location - not much street noise! Staff member at reception was friendly, prompt and helpful. There WAS a (potentially dangerous) issue in my room (see below), but he was able to rectify it the same night which was much appreciated. Given that it's presumably a traveller hotspot with the channel crossings, the price seemed reasonable.

The toilet was very close to the wall. If you are a larger person you would struggle to use it.

The bed was comfy. Secure private parking available for 10€ per night. Ideal place to stay if travelling in the Calais ferry. Just a short walk from restaurants and bars.
