Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

MalaysiaAs a solo traveller.. I have no complains. 1) The staffs were very helpful and kind "Thumbs Up" 2) The location is very central and I have no problem going to the venue Palais des Congres de Paris from Magenta. 3) Walking distant to Gare de Nord... convenient for Travellers taking the Eurostar trains 4) Plenty of Halal foods restuarants in the vicinity of the Hotel 5) Although I was asked to be extra careful especially at night, I did not experience any problem infact the people in the street are very helpful when I asked for directions to and from the Hotel. 6) I would certianly stay in this hotel if I have a chance to visit Paris in the future!
I guess for the price I paid, it was value for money.... like most Budget Hotel -,,, tge single room is a bit small, I like that the toilet and bathroom are seperated.

United KingdomThe room was extremely small and the hotel isn't in the best of areas. Also, breakfast costs 12 euros which is really expensive!
The room was extremely affordable which I liked. Also, it was quite near to the centre of Paris and attractions. I would definitely stay here again. The bathroom was pretty nice but small.

ItalyAfter the room cleaning, my pajama t-shirt disappeared. Probably it was mistakenly taken with the bed sheets that were replaced, considering that it was white, too. It's not a big loss, but it was a bit annoying that, when I asked the cleaning lady if she saw my t-shirt, she replied with a convinced "no", without even checking in the dirty sheets. I have been in many hotels, but this is my first time that something disappeared after the room cleaning...
Good hotel. Reception always open, 24 hours a day. They make a valuable effort to speak English (not so obvious in Paris) and it's quite good and understandable.

LebanonThe WIFI was not good at all. My phone couldn’t connect at all and it sucked up all my data. Also the TV screen didn’t turn off. I would turn it off and then it would come back on automatically.
The room was Constable and clean. It was also easy to get to the train station and around Paris.

United KingdomThe area is very unsafe, I was groped and sexual assaulted by the men lingering around both the Main Street and the side street, which are unavoidable due to the station distance. On one occasion a man bumped into me on purpose and grabbed my inner thigh, before I had to hit him. Both day and night time, especially for solo female travellers.
The room was clean and comfortable, bathroom area as well, the staff were friendly, and I felt safe inside the building.

MaltaAs a female solo traveller, the most important thing- the area is insanely sketchy and the 10 minute walk from Gare du Nord to the hotel is bad but the metro station that’s like 3 minutes away is even worse to be absolutely avoided. There are sketchy men on the street outside the station and in the garden around it trying to sell cigarettes and crowding the area so it’s difficult to pass. Honestly, a horrific experience trying to get to and from the hotel. The bathroom is old and overused and the walls too. My window was directly facing into someone else’s room across a tiny courtyard.
Receptionists were very nice and accommodating. There’s always someone at reception to unlock the front door. The room was overall ok. My room overlooked roofs which was gorgeous to watch sunset. The bed and wardrobe are relatively new-ish

IrelandWish they had a little folder for any quarries how to use telly or information on the area for tourist would be great help like in most hotels. The area isn’t the most friendliest but someone always on the door to let people in and out which felt a bit more safer.
Hotel was close to metro which you could hop on and get to any of main places in Paris. Very close to main station to get easy to the airport. Room size was nice as I spent most time out and about and was cleanish room and staff were friendly enough. But it’s all you really need bed and bathroom.
