The room was not great. Fridge did not work but still produced "disco-style" flashing lights, so we had to unplug it before bedtime; the light of one of the bedside lamps was extremely dim; and safe box did not work. We expected nicer hotel rooms for the price. Dinner at the restaurant was not good, especially the kids menu. Pretty bad food for the price and what people expect in France! Breakfast buffet was delicious, though.

1. The staff is very polite and welcoming, but lazy and reluctant to provide service! There is no signage to the pool, I went down to reception, asked where it was, they guided me how to go, I couldn't find it, I went back and asked again, and again they guided me how to go, I went back a third time and asked for someone to accompany me, they again guided me verbally, they didn't take me... I was in a hurry for my flight and I was under time pressure, it really frustrated me! 2. The location is about a 10-minute walk from the airport shuttle.

The room is smaller than the description in information page --- 26m2 on page but it might be only 16m2 in actual --- which is far from our expectation. There's no bathroom amenities provided, you have to buy from vending machine (but even 3-star hotels provided)

The elevator and air condition were available and worked well. And the bed is comfortable. Great location to reach terminals via CDGVAL (though slightly farer from CDGVAL station than other hotels in this area, but still in walking distance).

The outside of the building looks like this hotel comes from the Cold War. But the inside is nice and beautiful.

No milk was provided for tea and coffee. Also the cups were small paper takeaway ones rather than crockery ones, which seemed totally unnecessary.

The bed was very comfortable and the room clean and tidy. The hotel is only a 5 - 10 min walk from the airport shuttle train station

it is not very convenient with large suitcases (or children) to get to the hotel by shuttle train. From terminal 2 about 10 min walk to train and 10 min to the hotel (( Better take taxi ( +~20€)

The hotel is outside the airport terminal, though a train connects the terminal and the hotel. The walkway to the hotel from the train stop was open, so it would be challenging if it rained.

Firstly, I did have a late arrival around 8 pm but as I entered, the entrance area was noisy and crowded. The entrance opens to the Bar area and a pool table. For a big hotel I expected reception to be more visible instead of a small counter around the corner. There was no concierge or if there was I did not see anyone. The room was adequate, I booked the classic double room so the following may not apply to other room selections. My main gripes with the room were - there is a kettle for coffee or tea making but no crockery, only small paper cups, not even standard size take away paper cups. Four sachets of coffee - 2 decaf & 2 ordinary, flavoured tea choices, no milk and wooden sticks. If you have milk in your tea or coffee you have to ask at the restaurant and honestly, it took so long to get half a cup of milk I thought the attendant was milking the cow! - The fridge is in the cupboard with one bottle of water, mine was sparkling I prefer still. - The bathroom has a hand held shower in the bath no shower head and the plugs are permanently down so the bath fills up with water as you shower. It gradually goes down but after you finish showering. - The hand basin has the same problem. - No shampoo/conditioner/body lotion etc but one round of soap. - No glasses in the bathroom, again only small paper cups. - Nowhere to hang towels except over the shower screen and something like a luggage rack above the bath. One bar under the hand basin but it’s only big enough for a hand towel. All in all for a one or two night stay you can get by but the rooms are tired. They are clean but very basic, it looks like the decor has been updated but not the facilities in the room. Same goes for the foyer area everything looks like it needs a good clean and update.

Location was excellent for my early flight from Paris the next day. If walking from the Mercure the CDGVAL shuttle is only a few blocks away for easy access to any of the terminals. Check-in was easy although I had checked in online and then had to go through the same process on site which I found a bit odd. Most of the staff were very friendly and accomodating. I did have some brief interactions with staff who appeared to be in senior positions who gave the impression they would rather be somewhere else. Their replies to enquiries were terse and short. Breakfast was varied with many delicious choices traditional, sweet or savoury. I especially liked the cereal choices. I found it was best to get there early for warm or hot food and the coffee was good. The bed was very comfortable and the room reasonably appointed. Decor was nice. I was surprised and pleased there is no audible noise from flights in and out of terminal. Outside the Mercure and surrounding hotels it is well lit so the blackout curtains are great.
