How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Hotel was booked as half board but no restaurant open at night. Bar closed at 23.00pm. Minibar in room didnt work. Dirty carpet in room. Dangerous damaged carpet in the lift

Dogs not allowed in the restaurant, despite being told they would be last time we stayed. Went over the road to the Ibis who are the same group and my dog was allowed in no problem despite us not staying there.
Great location for the trip back from Spain.

Room service not available, despite being advertised.

The restaurant was closed for dinner.
Located just off the motorway, very comfortable and great bar area. A special mention to Morgan who was on duty when we arrived, he was incredibly helpful and a great host. We would stay there again just because of him. He organised for us to go to a different hotel to eat as the Mercure restaurant closes Friday evenings even giving us the person to ask for and cleared it for our dog to be allowed in.

Towels weren’t great quality and the evening meals could have been better, I had to leave half my steak as it was full of gristle.

breakfast , you set the table yourself, barely see some stuff member paying attantion…
loved the proximity to the futuroscope, many good restaurants in 5 min drive. breakfast is in a large room facing a lovely wood view.

The big waiter in Restaurant smells hardly sweat, like no shower. Very descasting when you are eating. ( maybe using deodorant will improve? Just a constructive tip. A pitty because his attention was ok!!!

The room was adjacent to an elevator which was rather disturbing during the night. In addition, our room had a somewhat unpleasant odor when entered (drainage maybe?). We left the windows slightly open during our stay. In the complete picture of our stay this was a minor but noteworthy issue.
We had a nice family room, the shower was great. Bathroom and toilet separated was a plus. Breakfast was good and the future hotel tycoon at the reception had hospitality as het second name. He really is a nice and humorous guy. Tip: In general the hotel offered a great breakfast. It would be very thoughtful to have a basket with already cooked eggs. As a gesture it now is possible to cook them yourself, but this resulted in a liquid egg as I'm not used to cooking my eggs the classic way :)

The breakfast was a bit sparse for 17€. I was really hoping for a real flaky French croissant but these were more bread like. The fresh fruit salad was basically pineapple and orange which is too acidic for me first thing. Berries, apple and banana would’ve been nice.
The room was very good. Easy access from the autoroute. Quiet room perfect for our on the road overnight stay.

No food available and the receptionist was more interested in reading her book and being on her phone than she was in paying guests.
Stayed here last year and we had a great stay, hence why we booked for this year, but what a difference a year makes.

We’re English and we only use loose tea in a tea pot. If we make tea in a mug we use a tea bag. It wasn’t really a problem, just the only thing I could think of!
Really comfortable bed in pleasant room. Delicious dinner.

The decor was dated and breakfast was poor value for money. Dairy products were left uncovered with flies in the area, quality of the cooked meats was poor and we would have expected better, given the price charged.
Convenient location and good, on site parking. The staff were friendly, cheerful and very helpful.
