Not so much a criticism but just to say the staff were great but at times a little stretched as the hotel was busy - popular obviously.

It is easy to get to given its location and there's good parking. The pool was lovely for my children and rooms very spacious and comfortable.

    Cleanliness of the room

We booked a junior suite for the 4 of us, with my kids on the sofa bed and my husband and I in the bed. I liked that there was a partition between the two and there was a walk in shower as well as a bath. The beds were comfy and the room was quiet. The room was uninspiring - quite boxy, and I found it to be less than clean - someone else’s socks on the floor and a dirty smear on the window, a couple of curlies in the bath 🤢 and the housekeeping staff had gone home for the day. It was a little inconvenient that the loo was separate and in the living space so we had to creep past the sleeping kids in the middle of the night. Otherwise a good room. The pool was nice to have for a stop over too. The hotel staff were kind and efficient, and very helpful when we had an unfortunate accident in the car park (not our or their fault). I left my AirPods behind and they found them and are posting them back to me. Breakfast was quite expensive for what it was but a good range overall. The hotel is a 10 min easy amble into the old town which is lively and has some restaurants and a carousel/merry-go-round for kids. Great place to stop over, though personally I wouldn’t consider this a destination in itself.

    All pretty good to me.

Literally 10 minutes walk into the centre of town, easy to find from the motorway, comfortable room in which everything worked, good breakfast and reasonable dinner (I would usually go out in Beaune but it was Monday night so little open), good free parking and generally efficient and friendly staff. The pool was inviting and lots of people making use of it.

I'd expect bath robes in a 4-star hotel. Surprisingly, there were none in our room. Also, I think it should be possible to wash hands in a toilet and not to run around the whole place to the bathroom. That was rather inconvenient as our children had to rush through our bedroom every time they wanted to wash their hands. Also, the sliding panel made noise when moved. What is really a miss - not only the roof in the restaurant was leaking to the floor during rain, but the poodle stayed overnight and was accompanying us during breakfast.

The room design was great. Master bedroom area is separated by a wide slide panel. I also liked the pool area. Very nice in this hot summer! Breakfast was lavish, and the restaurant was rather good, too.

Room was not ready at stated time , or even 30 mins later which is frustrating - if you can’t get rooms ready for 2 pm check in then move to the normal 3 or 4 pm to avoid disappointment. Otherwise all good 👍

Restaurant- excellent food and service. Bar good as well.

    Nothing to dislike.

Within walking distance of town centre. Good standard of room, although slightly small was adequate for a one night stopover. Good choice of items at breakfast. Liked the water fountain in reception to allow you to refill your water bottles with filtered water.

The breakfast offered many options and items were readily refilled. The bed was comfortable. I had an injury at the time and still found the bed comfortable. The water refill station in the lobby was a great idea!

The room itself was okay - what's really uncomfortable is the plastic mattress cover which makes you sweat a lot at night. The curtains were super unhandy sliders which resulted in a lot of hassle and not being able to fully close or open them.

Very happy we could park the car in front of the door without extra cost. Nice to have swimming pool, though we did not use it, good and quiet rooms. Breakfast was good.
