Marie was a very nice and pleasant host. From the apartment we made several trips to different cities. From the location it was a very good drive. A very nice breakfast is served as extra for a very good price. The baguette and the croissant have been really good.

Little confusing to find but worth the effort

traditional french farmhouse just like I imagined. Lovely grounds and pool. Lovely, interesting family decor . Felt very welcomed as if I was visiting a friends home.

Everything was perfect!

Everything about Mas d’Escattes was exceptional. Our room surpassed expectations, the quiet out of town location suited us perfectly and despite not having a car the reasonably frequent bus service from the centre of town and major monuments dropped us only 100 metres away. The breakfast was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for Marie the hands on owner who went out of her way to make sure that everyone’s stay was beyond perfect - altogether a wonderful experience to cherish and remember.

Everything was just perfect!

Wonderful place! Very peaceful, calming atmosphere, perfect cleanliness. The place has a beautiful garden with colorful flowers and a cozy outdoor seating area where we could relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The room was tastefully decorated with artwork and furniture. The hostess provided us with helpful tips on local attractions and restaurants, making our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a truly delightful experience and we look forward to visiting again in the future.

Everything about this B&B was perfect. The house and the garden are beautiful, with a beautifully located swimming pool and plenty of places to relax and have a drink before leaving for / coming back from the city. The house and the rooms are beautifully decorated, impressively clean, and always smell fresh. The bed is absolutely great and so are the bathroom facilities. The breakfast, served in the garden whenever the weather allows, is delicious and copious. Perhaps the best thing about this B&B, though, is the host: very genuine, very friendly, making you feel at ease and comfortable at her place from the first interaction, always helpful with advices on things to do & places to eat & park - a great added value having her around. I'd say we'd surely return to this B&B when we're in the neighborhood, but in this case it's more correct to say we'd surely return to the neighborhood when we're at this B&B.

We were there in a heatwave, 38 degrees and there is no air conditioning but due to the design of the traditional house the downstairs was beautifully cool and actually we slept well with the fans. Marie showed us how to keep the room closed against the heat during the day. In my opinion not a problem in such a tradional and beautiful property.

It was beautiful and comfortable The rooms we had were spacious and charming. The swimming pool was a good size and was in a beautiful setting. Marie was very helpful with clear instructions about parking and sightseeing in Nimes. Breakfast has nice touches with fresh squeezed orange juice and homemade jams

This B & B is just beautiful..... a true credit to Marie (& her mother). It's lovely to look at & equally as nice to stay at. We felt so totally relaxed here after touring around Provence all day for 4 days. The location is perfect for daily visits around the area. Our room was huge & stunning like the home & exquisitely decorated. Breakfast was fabulous with a large selection of local produce to choose from. The swimming pool was very welcome on those hot days. If I could give it more than 10 I would.

Mas d'Escattes is a very nice place. The premises, rooms and garden make it a place for a very pleasant stay. Our host Marie was very helpful with tips for restaurants in Nîmes and for activities.

Marie was an exceptional host. She gave us excellent tips on places to visit on our way to attractions. She goes out of her way to make sure you see what is in the area and checks that you have enjoyed your day. Breakfast in the lovely garden is a special treat. The house and garden are a dream- a beautiful classic French country home. Our hostess was charming and gave us lots of useful information. The breakfast was excellent, the quality of the food and drink exceptional. It’s a 15 minute drive to Nimes and half an hour to the beautiful little town of Uzès. Very highly recommend!

Everything was perfect. Marie was such a thoughtful and pleasant host. We appreciated the time she spent telling us about Nimes and the surrounding area and all of things she thought of to make our stay so memorable. For example, we ate our dinner on the patio by the pool one night and as the sun set she came out with a lamp for us. The property is beautiful and quiet. The breakfasts included fresh fruits, juices, bread and cheeses and healthy but tasty accoutrements.

This place is like a dream! Everything is so tasteful and romantic. The room, the pool, the garden.. Having croissants with homemade jams for breakfast in the morning by the garden.. Enjoying the pool on the hot summer days..It felt like we were in an French movie. Marie was so helpful and nice in an effortless way. We loved it! Nimes is a lovely town just 10' by car. And within 30' by car you can discover many other places like Avignon, Arles, Uzes. We loved it!
