The spiral stair case is steep and quite narrow - would adjust for smaller luggage next time. Quite close to the motorway so a constant background rumble of traffic noise. The access out to the external terrace was unsafe. Faux-grass had been used to loosely cover (?) concrete steps which made it look nice but was not securely fitted and obscured the edges of the solid steps. My husband took a tumble but was not really hurt. The idea was nice but it needs reviewing. Staff member on duty in owners absence was really helpful and nice but lacked adequate command of French or English for the tasks she was assigned (or Spanish, Italian or German)language - we muddled through!

Very clean and interesting restored Manor House. Facilities fine and some nice attention to details in the comfortable rooms and well appointed bathrooms. Plenty of safe parking and a relaxing external garden space. OK breakfast - traditional continental - but would have liked some fresh fruit. Coffee was good.

Ground at the Entrance to the gite was pretty rough, unsafe even and needs to be finished. Wi-Fi only worked in the kitchen area and not in the bedroom and a door isolating the toilet would be a bonus.

We turned up at 8 but breakfast started at 8.30. However the lady offered coffee and then proceeded to build a breakfast buffet which was great. Would have loved fresh croissants though but enjoyed all the fresh fruit.

Everything was great but just to mention the stairs are a little narrow so may be tricky if you have mobility problems. But it is an old manor which is being beautifully updated.

A lovely welcome from the host. Plenty of private parking . The owners have worked extremely hard on this property. Everything inside was wonderfully new and good quality. Our room was great. With a lounge area and small kitchen type area. The bedroom was good, all new and comfortable beds and pillows. The bathroom included a spa bath as well as shower over . This as like the rest of the accommodation was very stylish. Our host couldn’t be more helpful. Initially making a booking for us in a nearby restaurant but then after finding I was to tired to go out she happily cancelled it and helped us order pizza, even taking me to collect it as delivery would have taken to long. We requested breakfast earlier than they had said but this to was no problem. We went down at the requested time and very thing was ready for us. Warm croissants, breads, cheese, yoghurts , cereals etc. We are looking forward to our return stay on our trip home.

Our room was very small with pitched roofs so it was hard to even stand up in. It also didn’t have a proper bathroom just a toilet in the same room as the bedroom with a shower and sink. I did look in a couple of other rooms and they looked Much nicer. Maybe we just got unlucky.

The stay was better than we expected ! a real traditional French Home Stay !! The breakfast was not bad, we juste expected more like meat based meal or eggs not just fruits, cheese and cookie snacks ! BUT Over-all Exquisite !

Very welcoming, clean and comfortable. A private toilet would have been preferable. The breakfast was lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. One thing ... the front garden needs decluttering. In keeping with the beautiful old house would be a pretty garden.
