The property needs some investments to keep the quality of the building. The breakfast was OK but lack of staff, diner was average.

The pool was inaccessible for me no handrails to get into the pool and as I have had a hip and knee replacement this was a problem. They offer private sessions in the pool for snacks hour each day but as the access is difficult, the lighting poor and no telephone link to the reception this was not attractive.

Breakfast was good lots of variety. Situation was good lots of land to walk our dog and very peaceful. 2 miles from Quimper so need a car to go there.

Bathroom was open with walls not reaching the ceiling. Not very comfortable. Toilet with basicaly no doors. There was mold and stains around the windows. Restaurant is not open on sunday which is not on the website.. only in some email on booking which is only in French.

Big spacious and nice decorated room. Nice garden around the property.

We were there as a family. Unfortunately there is no children’s menu on offer. Additionally we had to book what we wanted from the menu 3 hours in advance! We ordered 2 desserts prior but were denied a third during dinner. The pool is amazing but the system for booking is unclear. As a family we didn’t want to spoil other guests relaxation so booked a private slot on our first morning. Another couple came (obviously on a romantic stay) - which was not ideal as we were splashing and enjoying a pool as people with young children do. You have to pay for robe and slippers for pool/spa area. No air-con which would have been good in the very hot weather.

Staff were very friendly and tried to be helpful at all time. The rooms were comfortable and felt relaxing. Pool was great! Small but atmospheric and the kids loved it! The restaurant was excellent. Great service and food amazing. The hotel has character, but feels like it needs a spruce up in places.

No staff apart from 1 man on reception who disappeared after check in . You had to ring him if you wanted eg a glass of wine from the bar which looked closed . No restaurant as described at all . Confusing whdn you n you read description . You have to book before 5 but that also means you have to pre order also what you want to eat. This lets the hotel down massively .

The bathroom in our room was not separate but rather behind 3/4 high walls. Stairs up to the room were a challenge but not sure there is much you can do about that. The sloping nature of our room's ceiling made it difficult to sit in chairs provided. Storage for clothes was a bit small. Would benefit from the addition of a bureau or something similar. Restaurant was pleasant but not exceptional. I would recommend removing some furniture from the lobby below the skylight to make it more inviting to sit in.

The Hotel's park was nice to walk in. Hotel staff was very helpful and pleasant. Overall our room - the Nabab- was very nice with good light and views and wonderfully restored.

Staff didn't seem readily available at the reception when you needed them and no one seemed available at breakfast when you needed to ask a question.

It was very quiet. It was comfortable & clean. We also loved in spa area. The massage I had was very good.

Just a couple of niggles. The broad wooden surround to the bed made it a little challenging to get out, but for younger people, that shouldn't be a problem. The room was very warm and the external door could not be left open as the shutter was inoperative. The toilet seat was loose and moved too much. Nothing serious!

The setting, tranquility and style of the hotel. Breakfast was exceptionally good.

Practically very few people for staff. nobody at the reception and it was very difficolt to find somebody. The room was not very clean full of dust under the bed and walls e skirting boards were detached and full of dirt. The sauna didn't work we called the receptionist but didn't fix it The dinner portions were very small and it was not possible to order anything else (not even an icecream!)

A very beatiful location with very high potential. The few staff present was very kind and helpful

Dinner was very disappointing. Undercooked chicken had to be returned with no apology from staff. We did raise the issue again on our departure but again, no apology. A shame really as this experience was not in line with the rest of our stay.

Beautiful setting and bonus use of the pool which was a real treat. Room was spacious and comfortable too. Dog-friendly in addition.

The wifi is very annoying, the signal is weak and connection is slow and often lost when one is out of the room. Attention to cleanliness should be improved as areas such as under the bed, in the cupboard shelves and floor along the walls have not been vacuumed for an extended period of time.

Checking in was good, there staff showed us to the room and explained all the features / facilities of the place. Parking is ample. The meals served at the restaurant is good.

The dinner menu was limited but once we were told which were gluten free meals it worked out OK.

Very helpful staff. Liked the decor in the room. Enjoyed having access to the indoor pool and sauna for an hour on our own. Good food. Excellent mattress in our room

It was missing small details

The building on the exterior is beautiful. The room was fin, but the interior could easily be made more luxurious with a bit of additions like flowers and fluffy towels/better tables and chairs in the dining room.

Our bedroom could have had a better view, we were looking out at the back of the hotel.

Our room was pleasant but basic. Breakfast and dinner were fine. Best aspect were the very spacious grounds which allowed our dog to have plenty of exercise.

with this exceptional place , would deserve some refreshment of rooms which are a bit dark ,upgrade of equipment… no need of TV or so but refresh the decoration…
