The location of the house was perfect, moments away from La Cité de Carcassonne and on a nice road. The house itself was very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Alice was responsive and very helpful. Can definitely recommend.

Everything was okay!

Apartment is located in touristy old town street, filled with charming restaurants and cafes but in the same time apartment is very quiet, providing a relaxing time. It has nice views and it is overall very cozy. We arrived by car but didn't use the garage, because public parking, not too far from the location, was available.

Front door was difficult to use. Did once worry that I hadn’t locked properly in the middle of the night. But it wouldn’t stop me from staying again. Everything else was fantastic.

Fantastic building in a great location. The street it was situated on made the stay for me. Great views from a he house of Le Cite. Facilities were exactly what was needed and all furnishings were comfy and clean. Fantastic host, very pleasant and helpful.

Parking in onsite garage was a challenge for Skoda midsize SUV. We did get it in but with no room to spare.

Nothing that mattered, or that made any real difference to our stay. My son (who we were visiting) and I are both chefs (he is French trained and very good), and we felt that there could have been a few more utensils in the kitchen. We also joked that we are very hard to please in this area!!!

A traditional style property with a modern feel. Good WiFi, very comfortable beds and sofas, amazing views of the citadel (as seen in the picture!) and an adequate kitchen. Perfectly situated for immediate access to the Citadel and a short walk to the Place de Carnot for shopping. We also had two very well stocked local shops extremely close by for our needs. Our host was super friendly and attentive to our needs.

Parking is a bit tricky since the flat is located in the pedestrian area but there are possibilies not so far away. Host is helpful with advise on where to park.

Charming little place, with a nice deck at the back from which you can look up to the ramparts of the castle. It’s a well-organised and immaculate flat, with good showers and wifi, air-condition, and comfortable beds. A really good location, close to both the old and new towns, with a frontdoor that opens up onto a street with nice bars and restaurants.

Lovely house, well-modernised, and in a fantastic location in Rue Trivalle with its array of great cafes and restaurants, also handy for La Bastide. It also had a wonderful view of La City at the back. Alice kept us well-informed throughout and was very responsive. We had a lovely time here.

Great location. Within walking distance of la cité. Plenty of room for family. Bathrooms were in great condition, and the beds were very comfortable. I couldn’t have asked for more.

Nothing worth mentioning - old wooden house makes a lot of noise but that is the price you pay for its charm & the neighborhood can get pretty lively but that's the price you pay for beeing close to everything

The bedrooms are on the third floor and you do need to contend with some narrow spiral stairs which might be tough for some to get their luggage up. But manageable- especially with two people.

Comfortable and everything you need for a great stay. Excellent location - 5 minutes walk to medieval cite, 15 to La Bastide Saint Louis. Bonus view of the medieval cite from the main bedroom.

The house is very beautiful with a lot of character. View onto the old citadel Carcassonne from the balcony is stunning and it takes only 5 minutes walking to get to the citadel. The town centre of Carcassonne is also only 10 minutes walking distance. The street of our house is awesome with great restaurants and a little grocery shop just 50m away from the house where you can get anything you need. The owner Alice and Alex were exceptional, so friendly, attending to all our needs promptly- you can't ask for better hosts.

Nothing, it was a great stay. Parking you have to park either on the car park at the bottom of the street or find street parking at the top of the street - no in front of house parking but it wasn't a problem for us. There is a small garage with the property but not sure we would have got our car in there so we just used the car park.

Great place to stay, nice house, nicely decorated, air con (which is a must in the super hot months!), everything you need. Great location, on a pedestrianised street with lots of restaurants etc and at the foot of the medieval city so only a five minute walk up to the medieval city and more bars/restaurants etc. Only a short walk across the bridge into the new town.

One bedroom didn’t have Air Conditioning (which would have been nice in July/August) and the dishwasher was not working - however this was only a minor inconvenience and the host did offer to resolve the issue.

Great location, clean and tidy - would highly recommend! Very good beds - so got lots of rest, functional kitchen with everything you need and a great relaxing space at the back (living room and terrace).

Nothing! The stairs are steep, but there is a handrail and my elderly mother managed with no problem.

A real gem. We loved the location - a short walk up the hill to the medieval castle or down to the canal and then on to the main town. Rue Trivalle itself is delightful. Lots of cafes, bars and restaurants so you only need just step outside your door for breakfast, lunch and dinner if you choose. It was very hot when we were there and the house was a haven of cool, with a fantastic little terrace overlooking the castle. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen and bathrooms were beautifully fitted. The owner is super responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay again. Thank you.

Be prepared to haul baggage a few hundred metres for most of the day as road barriers block street from 11 am. All part of the adventure and not uncommon in old towns🙂.
