The lack of flexibility for breakfast: the guest needs to let the host know the evening before what they will have for breakfast and at what time. I prefer a buffet and an open time range rather than a precise time slot. Vacation is about having nothing planned at a very precise time…

The room was the best!!! Clean, modern but with old charm too, newly built. The host was super welcoming and nice. This place is a GEM.

We had a fantastic stay at Maison Lapopie. The location is absolutely perfect, and our room was beautifully designed — full of charm, with great attention to detail and refined taste. Dinner at their restaurant O’Perdigal, on the terrace, was a highlight of our trip. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere relaxed and romantic — truly a memorable evening. And then the morning! We enjoyed a delicious, tailor-made breakfast served in a charming picnic basket, again on the terrace, with the same magical ambiance. An unforgettable experience in every way. Highly recommended!

Beautifully decorated spacious room with lovely shower and separate toilet. Cool in the heat. Fantastic breakfast on terrace with gorgeous view. Centre of St Cirq-Lapopie. Had dinner at affiliated restaurant O Perdigal which was lovely - also on the terrace.

Stunning location overlooking the village and the valley! Really beautiful and nicely furnished room. Extremely comfortable bed and great shower. Huge breakfast on the terrace overlooking the view. There is a really nice wine bar next door with delicious food! Parking a few minutes away free with card provided by the hosts .And finally amazing staff!!! Would definitely return if I could!

Absolutely nothing not to like.

Our second stay here, and hopefully not our last. We stayed in a different room this time, and now we don't know which one our favourite is, they're all so beautiful. Everything looks and smells so good, it makes it hard to motivate yourself to leave the room. Fortunately, breakfast is worth getting out of (super comfortable) bed for, and the hosts are discreet, lovely, and provide clear information. Great restaurant only a few steps away as well. While Saint Cirq Lapopie can be full of tourists by day, it's quiet and peaceful at night - a real treat.

What can I say about this property, just perfect! Everything was perfect, the owner really cares and has a great taste. Amazing design, new, clean, and every little detail in the room stands out. Amazing breakfast served brought to us in a picnic basket. Every little detail was really well designed.

Great breakfast but came 15 minutes late for my spouse, who was walking long distance and could not wait.

Really cute place with great views and a porch for breakfasts, old house in old historic town but modernized with AC and modern bathroom/shower. Close to restaurants and shops, just 50 meters below the cathedral. Staff helped me arrange a taxi to my next stop.

It would be helpful if the owners provided some data beforehand about open restaurants. It was a Tuesday night and it was difficult to find a place to eat. There was no bar - honor or otherwise- so no possibility of a beer or wine after we checked in. This was unusual for Europe.

Amazing location perched on a cliff above the medieval town, lovely suite at the top of scary stairs, good breakfast delivered to our room with charm and presentation. A very unique settling.
