No aircon in room but located under house so cooler. 36 degrees days !

Wonderful location, sunflower fields along drive.Michelle was perfect host, chatty informative,very generous evening meal including wine ( extra 30 euros each ) & great breakfast. The room had everything you could need.Pool overlooked paddocks idyllic setting.

What we liked about the property: The list is long, so it’s easier to just say, we like everything about it! Michelle is an exceptional host who went out of her way to make us feel welcome and comfortable, going so far as to drive out to find us, two drenched and chilled hikers in the rain to persuade us to let her give us a lift the short distance to her property, above and beyond!

Could not fault anything

The location was perfect. The property and Michelle were exceptional. We were made to feel like family the rooms were exceptional breakfast outstanding. The property is stunningly and so tastefully done. Would always recommend maison Lamothe 100 percent and would go back 1 million percent. Thanks so much ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

We were made very welcome by Michelle, who cooked us a great supper as well as preparing a delicious breakfast. Our room was very comfortable, and the location is idyllic, beautiful French countryside views. Weather wasn't warm enough to sample the pool sadly! We will be back.

2 things would improve future stays: 1) better signage in Flamarens- for walkers, there are no steps to spare at the end of a long day. 2) some kind of screen on the patio door - it was very warm but we couldn’t open the door as the little green bugs would have filled the room and the patio door was the only source of fresh air!

Beautiful location, food, and accommodation. Michelle was a great host and made us feel at home the moment we arrived. She also kindly drove us to the market in the morning and gave us a boost on our walk for the day!

Michelle was a fabulous host and her maison is full of charm as well as being very comfortable. She made us a wonderful veggie supper which was just what we needed after a day's walking. Breakfast was equally excellent. Thank you for everything Michelle, and I'm looking forward to a return visit!

Michelle is lovely, a great host. The location is like an oasis amongst the trees, our accommodation was comfortable and had areas outside to sit and enjoy. As we were walking, Michelle very kindly drove us back up the hill to Flamarens. We had ample food for breakfast including the option of cooked eggs eg scrambled.

Wonderful place. Wonderful owner/staff. We had a fantastic time. Great meals! Great cuisine and great local wine. We slept marvellously. It's a very relaxing environment in a region with lots of historical places (medieval villages, cathedrals, chateaux...).
