Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IrelandCould have used more cutlery and glasses etc in the apartment. Sometimes they were available at reception when needed but not always. We made do and it was a minor issue for us.
Lovely breakfast, delivered fresh and on time each morning. Ahmed, staff member, was exceptional, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and dealt with any travel issues we had.

United StatesThe one downside is the location. It is a short walk to the large public park, which is wonderful, but about 10-15 minutes to the city center.
The breakfast was excellent with a good selection and personalized each day.

Can’t say enough about this place- good things only. What a find- the photos do not do justice to the place. Four of us- adults. In a large room with 2 bed rooms and 2 washrooms. The only (and the only ) shortcoming of the place is that the WC is separate from both the bedrooms and doesn’t have a wash basin in it. We had a veritable apartment- 2 bedrooms, a living room, a dining room and a small kitchen area. Excellent decor throughout and small thoughtful touches all over the apartment. Beds were comfortable, large TV (that we didn’t switch on), large dining table (good to work on if needed), and rain shower heads in bathrooms. Excellent breakfast delivered promptly to the room by the lovely Maddy. She is a gem and great to deal with. Ahmed one of the co-owners was a charm and delight. His enthusiasm was infectious. Location- within 2 minutes to a pharmacy, a supermarket, a book store etc. within 9 minutes to Rue Notre Dame area. We bought a tote bag and a candle- they looked delectable. The whole family loved it. Would I stay here again: YES.

United KingdomSimply perfect - located in a beautiful quiet part of town close to locals shops, cafes and restaurants. Walking distance into the main Bordeaux town area too. The interior of the apartments is beautiful with everything you could wish to have in a B&B (Dyson hairdryer, steamer, coffee machine etc.). The best part though is the service, they go the extra mile, in every single interaction. Thank you for the most wonderful stay, I hope to be back one day!

The apartment is an Art Deco facade with modern comforts internally and soundproofing. Luxurious amenities (Aesop, what a welcomed surprise, along quality French brands). Retreat or office upstairs, rooftop terrace, delicious breakfast included daily. No request was too difficult, staff truly care and go out of their way to ensure you feel both welcomed and comfortable throughout the stay. Comforts of home, filtered water, zoned air conditioning, espresso machine, large fridge, big TV with many apps, smooth WiFi. A wonderful addition was the bathtub in the generous sized master bedroom, bed linen and towels high quality, truly luxurious experience. Lolly's in foyer a nice touch. Location excellent, right next to Rue Notre Dame, close to convenience stores, bakeries, easy on street parking and access to downtown.

Canada-
The location was great! Easy to walk to the near by parks, downtown and to restaurants. The apartment itself was so nice!! Very well decorated, beds super comfortable, towels, linens and everything you need. The hair dryers were Dyson and Aesop products as well as local French products which was very nice. The staff were all wonderful!! We just wish we were there longer! Hoping to be back soon :) we also travelled with our two year old daughter - they had a crib for her, some toys and books and even a basket filled with plates/baby monitor etc. I couldn’t ask for more! Oh and the breakfast service was so wonderful - we felt spoiled :) thank you!!

United KingdomEverything was fine.
The Mini Peach has an enormous lounge area with comfy sofa and large TV (which we didn't look at) . A coffee machine which grinds the beans and froths the milk. There is also a large fridge and table if you wish to bring in food (supermarket nearby) The bedrooms are large with very good beds. Large windows which open, thankfully. Very good shower and a separate toilet. Maison Hubert is in a quiet street with a tram stop 5 minutes away, the Jardin Public nearby and an easy walk into the centre (20 minutes). Good continental breakfast and very helpful, charming staff members.

BelgiumParking was a little difficult but considering its close to the center this is expected.
1. We got one of the smaller apartments (mini-Peach) to stay. This was a 2-bedroom house with a living area and a separate bath and toilet. The entire stay was really nice for the following reasons. 1. The staff - all the staff members were very nice to us. They spoke very well and ensured that our stay was comfortable. 2. The living space was very clean with attention to detail. All amenities were already there in the room. There were sufficient towels, creams, soaps and coffee machine and fridge. 3. We had separate rooms for adults and kids and the beds were full size. 4. Breakfast was complimentary, but you need to fill out a form indicating what you need for breakfast and when. They can serve it either in your room or at the common room downstairs. This was fresh and reduced wastage. 5. The hotel staff also gave us all the brochures, locations to visit, nearby hotels to order food from etc on arrival. 6. Special shout out to Maddy, Fabiene and Amber from the front desk.
