Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Beautiful property, a detached house with a small garden in a quiet neighbourhood. Decorated very tastefully. Spotlessly clean, very well equipped with everything you need, clean, new bed linen and very comfortable bed. Towels and hair-dryer included. Owner very helpful. Maps and other tourist information in the house. We had a most relaxing and enjoyable stay and would be delighted to return! Photos on Booking.com show the house exactly as it is.

RomaniaEverything was perfect. Large solo aparatment in a house situated on a quite and pleasent street. Has a nice garden and the car can be parked just in front of the house. Tastefully furnished, has all the amenities that one will need. The communication with the host was very smooth. We will return.

United KingdomIt was 42c and heatwave but AC in hall didn’t chill beds but one room was chilled by placing fan in hall directly blowing air into bedroom- other room suffered but it was external heatwave issue but consider if staying mid summer

United KingdomIt was a little warm in the bedrooms as the air con was in the hall. But my children had been hiding a fan in their room so maybe the error was ours in that.
Everything was wonderful. Such attention to detail. Lovely large rooms and such a well equipped kitchen. Beautiful garden to sit in and relax. So central for Carcassonne we popped in and out several times.over our day.

United KingdomFrom the perspective of someone who does not speak French as a first language, there were some anxious minutes when we arrived a few minutes earlier than planned and could not get through to someone on the number provided. Having stated a 5pm arrival, I expected someone to meet us at the property to let us in and show us some key aspects such as how to operate various appliances etc. I eventually spoke to Dominique who was good about providing the code for the key box and later for clarifying the Wi-Fi password. However, it all felt a bit hands off and did not compare well with arriving at a chambre d’hote or many hotels. The appartment itself was very comfortable and had many positive aspects. Having stayed in a variety of holiday accommodation, hosts need to realise that appliances such as microwaves, ovens, hobs, dishwashers etc are not generic in the way that they are set up to work which is why there should either be someone local on hand to help or some very detailed instructions should be available and easily followed.
