I had a fantastic stay at La Maison de Bonheur. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, and the apartment was very spacious and modern. Excellent facilities, and very comfortable. As a cyclist on a tour of France and Belgium, this was easily the best value for money on my journey.

Lack of restaurants, but easily overcome by driving to nearby town with it's lovely lake and surrounding friteries.

In a private house in quiet location with ample parking we had a lovely room, including own toilet, shower and sitting room with television. Owners super friendly, explained how to get to village square where we might find somewhere to eat and even offered to come and get us should it start to rain. Unfortunately, being end of season nothing was open and we had to drive to nearby Ardres to find somewhere to eat. Their property has a huge lawn, which must be lovely to sit in during summer months. Owner keeps lawn and surrounding shrubs immaculate. They own 3 little dogs, which they keep in a separate room during guest's breakfast and you would nerver guess because the house doesn't smell of dogs at all, in fact everything is kept very clean. Shouldn't forget to mention the shower, which was brilliant !! Would definitely come back if in that area again.

Nothing to dislike! But a few more pods for the dolce gusto would have been useful, eg. a few more hot chocolate pods.

The house is beautiful and the rooms are very clean. The owners were very welcoming and friendly despite us being unable to speak much French! Comfortable, firm beds and refreshing showers, and the dolce gusto machines were a great touch. And the dogs are very cute :-)

on the edge of the village. 3 minute walk to the town square where i found a couple of patisseries and cafes. the whole village were very friendly. and about 15 drive from the euro-tunnel

No English spoken; very minimal breakfast that wasn't worth the money. There was only one long pillow on the double bed.

We had a suite of rooms which was spacious; coffee machine for the early morning espresso; pleasant enough; and we didn't hear the dogs.

A wonderfully comfortable Guest House 25 min drive from Channel Tunnel. Great, quite location with secure parking, garden and play area for kids. The facilities were clean and plentiful, great bathroom and really comfortable beds. We just stayed for one night as a stop over before taking the channel tunnel the following morning to break up a lengthy journey. The owners greeted us delightfully and were only happy to assist us in anything and advise us what we could find in the area. There are a few places to eat/drink in the main town square, only a five minute walk away, and there is a great bakery. There seems to be a great market on Wednesday mornings which we observed as we left. Highly recommend, even for a longer period if you are exploring the area. We stayed in the upstairs Guestroom, but there are self-contained units in the grounds.

Exceptionally friendly welcome by the owners who went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. Beautiful property, well decorated and our room had all the amenities. As it was a fine evening we were encouraged to sit out in the beautiful garden and enjoy the last of the sunshine. Secure parking, there is an electric gate which is closed. What a difference such a warm welcome makes. Highly recommended. Merci bien.

👍 Lovely people. After a long day of travel we received a very warm welcome from the owners. Amazing how a smile can lift your spirits, I didn't feel.tired after that 😄.
