A very welcoming, clean house with 3 pleasant bedrooms, an open-space kitchen, dining room, and living room area as well as a modern bathroom . Lovely big fenced garden for the dog to play and recover from the long journey in the car and nice outside sitting area for us to sit and relax after the long journey in the car! Atmospheric walks by the lake and restaurants/bars nearby.

Quite location, 5 mins walk to the village where there are great bakeries, pubs, restaurants. Lovely, closed up garden, great for dogs.

We couldn't stay longer!

Great communication with the host, who sent us the code for the door on the morning of our arrival. Absolutely wonderfully rustic property, really spacious and a gorgeous garden at the rear. It was just perfect! A parking space was available on the driveway at the front of the property. The bed was so comfortable and the bedding was of good quality linen. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Coffee pods were available and my husband loved the hot chocolate ones. We will definitely return!

Spacious house. It was the perfect stop for our family with a dog to stay the night after taking the ferry. Would have liked to stay for a little bit longer, but it was booked out. It was exactly like described.

No Wi-Fi and no dishwasher but that’s personal preference and that wouldn’t stop us staying there again we will definitely be back and would definitely recommend 😊

Very clean cosy home from home feel, garden for dogs perfect and the toys thank you 😊 they loved playing with them, the garden furniture very nice and the bed very comfortable 😊 the short walk to the very lovely village

A lot of the lighting was cold-white bright , which is not ideal in the evening , I'd prefer softer lighting

Too much to list:) Beautiful , quaint cottage with lots of space in lovely, quiet setting. The nearly village looked really nice (unfortunately we didn't have time to explore ) . 20 min drive to Calais Eurotunnel, so perfect for an early departure.

The house was a perfect stop over for us on our way through France , although we wish we had more time to spend a few more nights there as it’s so nice, With so much space , and a beautiful sunny garden It has everything you need around as well , great bar across the canal , lovely burger bar at the end of the road , and a lovely patisserie, in the village

I really loved this property but did find the air circulation vent in oneof the bedrooms disturbing. Everyone else in the other rooms were fine. I couldn't find a way to turn it off which was a shame. I would book again as everything else was faultless.

Arrival times were flexible. Host very helpful and obliging.

A very spacious property with a nice dog-friendly garden. A lovely fire in the living room gives the place a very cosy feeling. Excellent location for the cross-channel ferries. The road outside the property has cars driving past quite fast and there is no pavement but once you get to the lakes on the other side of the canal, there are some lively walks.

I am reluctant to give this review as I want to keep this little gem to ourselves! We booked this property last minute retuning from a family funeral. The house was warm, had a Christmas tree and decorations , was clean…. Lovely! The garden was dog proof, unless your dog can clear 1m +. It is traditionally French. We live in France and think it’s one of the best budget homes we have used for us and our dog. UK use tea May pick fault but for us it was perfect! The pellet burner had us in our underwear, electric heaters in every room, fenced large garden, modern kitchen, though could do with a few more pots n pans. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much!!!!!!
