This was the first stop for our honeymoon. The staff and service was truly exceptional and with small touches, made our first honeymoon stop feel very special. The hotel is historic, but newly renovated and exceptional from room to facilities customer service and breakfast options. We shall return!

My husband and I loved Maison 1896. It was one of the best hotels we have stayed in. Everything was exceptional. The room, the breakfast and especially the staff. They went out of their way to make us and our dog feel at home. We also tried their Vietnamese restaurant and had a great meal. We are already planning our next visit.

We highly recommend Maison 1896! Our stay was amazing from the first encounter at the desk with Alexia , to Mark our bellman , to the wait staff at breakfast and dinner. Our room was well appointed, the night service was a nice surprise.

Breakfast was very good, the only thing you should change is to inform you guests that eggs, omelettes are extra payment. We have to pay extra 25€ for eggs and omelette which we didn’t expect in 5 star hotel.

Only little thing that I found strange is that they charge an extra price for eggs during breakfast. Even tough breakfast was included in the price.

Probably the best hotel in Beaune right now. Perfect location, easy to park the car and walking distance to everything in Beaune. Lovely staff that made the stay even better. I really recommend this place.

Although the Breakfast was missing some eggs or I did not find the way to get some, it was really nice. The service was 100% perfect and even incredible. The barman was beyond expectation! (I will remember his gin tonic forever,... but not only, the Ratafia was something amazing as well!) I was told to eat at the Expression... best ever choice! (not even 100 m away) Everything is nearby! I wanted to stay one night and I immediately chose to stay two!

Couldnt make our room warmer on a chilly evening but this didnt spoil anything.

Central location. Stunning building. Fabulous welcome, help with bags and valet parking. Super dog friendly. Lovely bar (Ryan is very good). Great food in the restaurant and lovely waiters too. Modern, clean and comfortable room with spacious and warm bathroom. Ideal.

This is a five star hotel in my opinion. The staff was exceptional, getting our luggage from our car in a distant parking lot, due to streets nearby being closed for a market upon arrival. The room was beautifully appointed. The bathroom was opulent. Bed was very comfortable. Included breakfast was good. The location is perfect for walking to everything. It was a bit expensive but you get what you pay for! Also the front desk staff was very timely in their communications to us before the stay. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

We liked it all but the bar could have been a bit better stocked. But that wasn't a problem as we went straight into the meal and ordered lovely wine.

The hotel was well fitted and comfortable. The restaurant was very interesting with good food.
