The hotel is perfectly located in Collioure, just a short walk from the town’s center. The breakfast is excellent (one of the few hotel breakfasts I would actually recommend). All the staff members were absolutely lovely. The rooms were comfortable, making it a great place to relax after exploring.

You need to be fairly fit to stay here, three flights of stairs after a big hill, but this is clear when you book.

The hotel is situated at the top of a hill and although it's only about 10/15 minutes walk from the town, this feels much longer in the extreme heat! Forget driving or parking in Collioure! I wasn't a big fan of the pillows in our room but thats just a personal choice. Also I forgot to mention to staff th at the water didn't run well out of the sink in our bathroom. I'm sure that would be easy fixed though. It would be nice if there was a bar in the hotel for an aperitif or night-cap. I think this would add to the ambience.

The hotel is really cute with lovely décor and breakfast terrace. Great choice for breakfast. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and helped us with restaurant recommendations. There's also a little bookshelf in the foyer with novels in different languages where I found a great book to read. The rooftop pool is ideal to cool down especially from 38° heat but it can get quite busy and it's not a very big pool. The views from up there are lovely. Loved having a balcony to sit out on and also for drying swimsuits.

Only fault was I would have liked a slightly thinner pillow (used cushion), and single beds smaller than average.

Exceptional service, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, and all facilities were perfect, pool area lovely, nice jacuzzi, free pool towels included. Comfortable temperature in bedroom, and bathroom and shower excellent. Easy walk to town, although areas of path close to hotel not all that suitable for baby strollers

We were only at the hotel for 24 hours but we loved EVERYTHING and are really looking forward to going back as soon as possible (although we shouldn't say that too loud as we would love to keep it to ourselves). Two absolutely 'stand-out' qualities of the Madeloc Hotel and Spa were the kindness and patience of the staff, as well as the pool / jacuzzi facilities. Not a 'cheap' hotel but worth every penny in our view for a wonderful, romantic getaway to Collioure. Just excellent, thank you so much.

Excellent location, only a few minute's stroll from town. Pool was perfect. Breakfast was delicious. Parking for motorbike secure and easily accessible.

Staff were friendly and helpful, good recommendations for dinner. Breakfast had plenty of choice including local dishes. Location is very good for the train station and pretty good for the old town. We didn't try the pool as the Mediterranean Sea is <10 mins walk and very safe swimming in beautiful clear blue water. Loved Collioure and would definitely stay here again.

I was staying 2 nights in the hotel Madeloc. Everything was excellent. I was with my daughter. The room is clean, all necessary things you can find in the bathroom. The location is great, 6 min from the railway station and 10 min from the city centre by walking. The breakfast was tasty. On the roof of the house a heated swimming pool and jacuzzi which we thoroughly enjoyed. I will return there again ☀️

Lovely hotel close to the station. The staff were exceptional. Two reception staff helped with our travel when trains were cancelled. The receptionist who checked us in gave us a map and explanations. We followed his recommendations and had an excellent dinner and a Tapas lunch.. He carried our heavy cases to and from our room and made us coffee after we spent two hours on a station platform. The lady receptionist at lunchtime on 29th phoned SNCF concerning our onward travel. The lady in the breakfast room was friendly and helpful.
