The shower was only a hand held shower head over a bath. I would have prefer ed a wall mounted shower head or a walk in shower instead of a bath.

Our stay at the lovely boutique Hotel Lumen in Paris was absolutely wonderful. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and our room was clean and chic. We loved the central location walking distance to major attractions with good transport links for further afield trips, perfect for exploring all the sights. Highly recommended!

The hotel was fantastic! We arrived very early, and the team happily accommodated us with an early check-in after tracking our fights arrival. As we were in Paris to celebrate our honeymoon and my wife’s birthday, the hotel generously surprised us with an incredible suite upgrade - such a thoughtful gesture that we truly appreciated. Our stay was wonderful from start to finish. The room was beautiful, the staff were warm and welcoming, and the location was perfect - within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. We also felt very safe returning late at night from our daily adventures and late dinners with staff there 24/7. We absolutely loved our time here and would highly recommend this hotel. We look forward to staying again on our next trip to Paris!

The rooms with exterior view are not very well isolated so you hear the noise from the street. If you are a light sleeper, maybe ask for the rooms that don’t have main street view.

Traditional European size rooms….small. The bathtub/shower is a bit tall so would not recommend to anyone with mobility or balance issues.

The building was a bit older than we expected and the standard queen room was very small, tight for two people and lacking space to move around. Keep that in mind if you’re staying for more than a couple of nights or traveling with lots of luggage.

This hotel is in an ideal spot—walking distance to shops, cafés, and everything you want to see. It’s reasonably priced for the area, especially given the convenience. The room was very small, but it was clean with pristine bedding and excellent air conditioning, which made it comfortable. A solid choice for a short stay in the city!

The window in our bathroom was quite big and the blinds were too small for the window, so a corner of it was always uncovered. A bit annoying in the evening as the building next door is quite close.

The hotel is modern and located right in the heart of Paris. You can easily walk to most main attractions which is a great plus. The rooms are quite big compared to the usual Parisian hotel room size and we loved that the bathroom had a little separate table for toiletries. The staff is very helpful and accommodating.

Great location - a quiet street but very central and so close to all key landmarks. It was so easy to walk everywhere. I was on my own but felt very safe. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was cosy and the bed very comfortable. The room and the bathroom had everything that you might need during the stay. I really enjoyed my stay and I would highly recommend this hotel!

Fantastic location, super staff - very welcoming & helpful. Comfortable rooms. Only thing that was a disappointment was there was no stand in shower or stand in shower in the bath (only hand held shower head). Everything else was excellent and would recommend this hotel.

The rooms were on the small side, but beautiful

The staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, recommending local eateries and places to visit and booking taxis. Although they spoke perfect English, they spoke to me in French to allow me to practice my limited ability of the language, without immediately switching to French, which I was grateful for.

Room a little dated and tatty in places but overall a very comfortable room. Being picky, no milk in the fridge to complement the tea tray.

Great location for first time stay in Paris. Twin suite quite small but I believe this is usual for Parisian hotels. The staff were really welcoming and helpful either way good English.
