if you're going to the Sanctuary, this Guest House is perfect. Budget friendly and the caretakers are warm and hospitable. It felt like a family. The kitchen was clean - coffemaker didn't work but I loved that there was solidarity amongst the other guests who left things behind for other travellers. the common room is spacious enough and clean! You can meet and socialize with some really nice people travelling there too if you are lucky enough.

Annoying light in hallway constantly on and off (supposed motion sensor, mal-function) shining into room, my partner found it very very disturbing. Can hear neighbour rooms, with VERY LOUD chanting and singing but luckily not late. Communal areas OK, but had been cleaned by someone else staying there so had been bad. Fridge had very odd slightly off smell.

As we needed somewhere well-placed for buses and trains, where we could make our own breakfasts and lunches, this met the criteria. We are quite happy with basic, this is basic. Room clean, heater good control, bathroom plenty hot water. Good that we could drop our bags early, by arrangement, as we arrived at 9am

The door of the room was a little annoying to open and made me stressed. The other next door opens faster. So it was just that. #4 was mine (The outside door - communal opens comfortably)

The matres on the bed in room 5 has thin matres, then I can feel at times, pending on the position I laid or sit, the frame of the bed, it was concerning

I was able to cook and eat my meals free stress, I felt at home after few days, I enjoy the small talk with other pilgrims, the place is relatively quiet when guest are in, the bathroom is spacious, the rooms are cleaned

everything was bad. the hotel was old, smelled musty, the plaster was bad, it needed to be repainted. the bathroom was dirty (see photo( no wardrobe for clothes, only a few hangers. only a bedside table and a small cupboard. (see photo( clothes had to stay in the suitcase. the worst was the entrance to the room, which was by code. it was constantly stuck and I was always afraid when I got to the room that I wouldn't get inside. another guest helped me, because the owner lived far away and it took him 20 minutes to come. radiator broken, not working. i found hotels that were a similar price and looked cozier and cleaner. they had a reception if I had any problems. i only went here to sleep, i spent the whole time in the city. in the evening after returning from the candlelight procession i went down a dark street, which looked dangerous.

The location of the hotel. Although it was located on a hill, which might be a problem for older people or people with a lot of luggage, it was close to the city.

I found everything I needed at the property, the bed was comfortable, the location was quiet, there was no interference by staff, I was not distracted from my daily routine, I enjoyed the laughter and screams of children coming from the school during the afternoon brake

On the second floor the shower is blocked On the first floor the lavatory's door does not close The common areas (lavatories, toilets, kitchen and staircase) are not clean

Despite being early in the season, the rooms and kitchen need a deep clean. Big issue with regards the front door lock not working result in the downstairs window having to be kept unlocked and used for entry and exit. Despite many reassurances this was going to be fixed (tomorrow), it still wasn’t repaired when I left two weeks later. Very, very disappointing visit this time. No refund offered for the stress and inconvenience. I won’t be returning again. I could share photos but I won’t. I really hope Booking.com can get assurance this property is of a standard acceptable to guests. I’m not expecting luxury from cheap and cheerful prices but I do expect cleanliness, safety and basic functionality of things such as the front door!!

It was in a very dark alley, with no lighting and we arrived 11.30 pm. Facilities very basic and not very clean. Beds had stained sheets and room was very cramped . We slept on top of the beds! Window blinds stuck and bathroom unhygenic. Common areas untidy and unhygienic!. Couldn't wait to get out of it!

Unreasonably filthy dirty. Property truly run-down/smelly. My bed was bug-ridden. Under the bed loads of dust. I wake up with bug bites all over. Seriously expensive for the quality offered. Shower filth & not working properly. Unattached from the bathroom wall. The owner really needs/ must should really and truly improve the property if he really wants to customers to come back again Seriously disappointed

Rooms were really small, just for the bed and a 0,5m on each side, but if you're there just to sleep, it's adequate. Every part of the house smells a bit different. Rooms are okay, but the hall smells a bit after cigarettes and the kitchen room smells a bit after burning some food. Even when we ventilated the room with fresh air.

Good accommodation for a lower price :) a very good location right in the centre of Lourdes. The owner is very helpful and kind. He offered us a different room so we could be together on the same floor (we ordered two separated rooms).
