Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomNice rural location - a beautiful building with quirky features in the longe/bar. Jordan made us feel very welcome. Our (upgraded ) junior suite was very spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed a fabulous evening meal of really high quality - and the chef went out of his way to accommodate an intolerance which was excellent. Breakfast was good. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. Well worth paying for.

SwitzerlandThere was a delivery of something at 4am in the morning and they pulled a trolley with small wheels on a gravel road - the noise was quite significant and woke us up. Also there is a cat that comes meowing in the night at the room doors - we were already awake from the delivery mentioned before so in the end not a huge problem but still when I mentioned it at the reception they did not really address it, just smiled at my comment...
The property is really nice, with open space for kids to run around/explore, the swimming pool is great (however not open from the morning which is a bit disappointing for the kids). The restaurant on premise is ok, a bit overpriced for what it offers and the food is not mind blowing. It's well located for exploring the region so this is definitely a big plus. We had 2 rooms - one of them, a garden room close to the swimming pool had a huge bed (200 x 200) - this was really nice and comfortable.

The room was spacious and the quality of the evening meal was exceptional. The hotel staff were pleasant and helpful.

We were very kindly surprised by a complimentary upgrade on arrival which meant we had a room with air conditioning . Given the excessive temperatures at the time this was a very welcome addition. Food at dinner and breakfast was excellent as was the attentive service where all staff clearly made an effort to make guests comfortable and welcome. Comfortable bed and good bed linen which ensured an excellent nights sleep.

United KingdomSadly the outside lights are left on all night. I think this is a shame for such a rural location, the light pollution is not necessary. Also the curtains are not blackout lined and therefore the bedroom is light all night. Either, line the curtains, or switch the lights off.
The garden rooms are lovely, especially if travelling with your dog.

Our room overlooked a charming pond with frogs and koi, and the beautifully kept garden, complete with flowers and a vegetable patch, added to the magic. Facilities went above and beyond, with a tennis court, swimming pool, and sauna. Breakfast was outstanding with many delicious options, and the fine dining experience was the perfect touch.

BelgiumThe breakfast was OK, not special, and a bit dear for what was offered. We would suggest that the music in the restaurant and bar is varied a bit more. Too much fiddly jazz does not work after a long day's drive.
Very friendly staff made us feel welcome and expected. The dinner menu was very tasty, and each dish well presented and original. It respected our request not to have meat (indicated in the reservation) . Our (upgraded) ground floor suite was very spacious and had a very comfortable bed.
