Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SwitzerlandBeautiful location, staff was very friendly and accommodating and food absolutely delicious. We asked the Reception if it were possible to have an early check-in as he had a wedding on the day we have arrived and they made everything possible to give us a different room so we can change before the wedding.

United KingdomA pleasant little hotel in an attractive location, at the heart of a picturesque village. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating and we had a tasty dinner in the atmospheric courtyard.

SpainThe room was slightly cold, but considering the minus temperatures outside and the size of the room, this was OK. Under the covers, it was fine. The restaurant was slightly expensive, but you do get what you pay for here, the food was exceptional.
We read a lot of mixed reviews and were going with an open mind. The hotel was set in a beautiful, quaint town. We had room 8, a junior suite and it exceeded our expectations. Plenty of room for us and our daughter and a stunning hot tub style bath in the bathroom. The beds were super comfy and everything very clean. The hotel itself is beautifully set up and we went to the restaurant for our evening meal and it was exceptional. Sarah, in the restaurant gave great wine recommendations and even our daughters meal was a well thought out, delicious meal - not a chicken nugget in sight! We would love to return.

Picked as a stop over on my way from UK to Barcelona. Wanted somewhere with secure parking and good food as car was fully loaded with our stuff. Sauna/pool was fine, but the winner was the dinner! Absolutely worth the little detour to my journey, so much so that I'll struggle to look for alternatives if I have to make the journey back.

AustraliaThe hotel is overpriced for what it offers. It's very expensive and although it looks pretty it is just a bed and a bathroom. It has no comfortable chair to sit in. Breakfast offered no more than any other hotel but was twice the price of other hotels. It advertised breakfast including bacon, sausages and crepes. There were none offered. The staff were unable to answer my questions about the local environment. The bathroom had a basin with a plug that didn't work and when I showered I had to be very careful or water leaked over the floor.
I stayed here because it is on the GR2 and the only accommodation available close to the Source of the Seine. The walk to the Source from the hotel is 12km, making a 24km day walk which was a really great walk.

United KingdomThe spa was nice and clean but required an outside shower. Also a enclosure to the pool would have meant that could be heated and used.
The food was excellent as was the location. Waiter (Sebastian I think his name was) was very entertaining and engaging.

Netherlands- room was quite old - restaurant was closed several days, was not clear to us up front. There was an alternative, simpler, “snacking” menu available on those days. Menu was good but quite expensive - expensive drinks
- good breakfast - nice dining area - good menu available when restaurant is closed - Dijon less than 30 mins away

United KingdomWe were allocated a room with hardly any heating despite 4° outside and lukewarm water to have a shower. We complained and had to change rooms because we were at the end of the spur, so we were told; so why allocate us that room? A member of staff from the dining room helped us to move to a second room, where the heating was still poor and we needed two additional electric fan heaters and an oil filled radiator to heat both the room and a very small bathroom. The food (distinguished rating) was just about acceptable. We both had fillet steak which came served in a small dish so it was difficult to cut the meat and mashed potatoes on the side at a cost of 43€! The dessert was equally disappointing for 25€. Breakfast was served in an outside barn heated with an electric heater. When we came to pay, there was no apology from the female proprietor.
The position of the property is idyllic in a lovely valley but the property itself is very tired.

Fabulous hotel to stop over in. We travelled from London to Italy, but broke up the trip with 1 night at Logis relais de La source. Great clean rooms, comfortable beds and bedding. A cool pretty hotel, with lots of history.

United KingdomThe room was terrible it was a ground floor adapted room next to a store room which was very noisy in the morning. I booked a normal large double. The room was dark and if the curtains were open then we were visible to people on the terrace outside. The starter arrived after the main course. My partner’s steak was cold and returned and then overcooked. There was no rose wine by the bottle only by glass. A diner on the next table asked for bread and the waitress brought a roll out in her hand not on a plate. The table was not cleared when we asked for coffee and we had to clear it ourselves. The empty bottle and ice bucket were still there in the morning when we left at 10am.
The property was very attractive from the outside and my meal was good

United Kingdomcan’t recall anything negative.
A friendly hotel with above adequate accommodation. location and free parking all good. pleasant reception and staff, while Sebastian ran the hotel and restaurant in the evening. what a guy. Couldn’t have been more helpful. Explaining dishes and generally chatty. The standard of food was above exceptional. Michelin Standard at ordinary prices. Floods of different tastes from each course. Ended up as five courses with hand made chops with the coffee. 48 euros. drinks extra. would definitely stay again, preferably in summer time to make use of the pool
