Great hotel, great location. Very friendly and helpful staff

The location was good.

We had to wait for a long time in the reception to talk to anyone. Finally we gave up and left and came back later. The room was not exactly as in the pictures. Seemed older than expected.

We thought we extremely well looked after and although we were unable to dine at the hotel the staff went to great lenghts to arrange an alternative

The location was great and it had old hotel charm. We were very keen on the fact that it had a restaurant.

The room we booked was not the room that we got which was meant to have a bath and an outside balcony. There was no hot water at 6am. The restaurant looked lovely and the menu at first glance promising. However I ordered the zucchini flowers as an entree and as there was no description of the dish, I was pleasantly surprised that there was langoustine filling in the zucchini flowers with a beautiful lobster bisque. I had ordered the lobster main which when it arrived looked exactly like the entree except it had very small pieces of lobster in spring roll type bonbons. While it was delicious it was exactly the same lobster bisque and the same white rice dish. So I virtually had two identical dishes. The menu has no description of the dishes at all and I think this is grossly lacking as if I had seen it had lobster in both would’ve only chosen one and had a different entree. The wines also had very little description and the person that we were directed to, to explain a little about the wines knew nothing and had to go and get it out of the cellar to look at what variety it was. And as it turned out that was incorrect. It is not a vast wine list and I think some simple knowledge of the wines you are offering, which we have had throughout France for the last four weeks would’ve been helpful

The hotel is in a beautiful area good parking and in the town centre. The staff very friendly and English speaking the food in the restaurant was excellent

Lovely view from the bedroom. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Very friendly staff. Dinner in restaurant very good. Good location on edge of village, easy to park.

Late check in.

The extra warm welcome and service of the owners and staff. The excellent cuisine Nice, clean and confortable room. The location at the entrance of a magnificant medevial place.

This is the perfect traditional country hotel of your dreams! It was our 3rd visit and every time it just gets better. Najac is a wonderful village and the hotel backs onto the large open square. We stayed in a lovely quiet room that overlooked the countryside. It was serenely furnished. The restaurant is of a very high standard and dining there was a highlight of our trip. Breakfast was very generous and good value. A special thanks to Susanna

Nice place. everything was perfect. Good place to eat. we had a fantastic dinner, good service, fantastic chef. thank you for a lovely experience. of course we would recommend the place.

No bedside table and shower room a little tired.

Location, views and the food. Amazing restraint. A hidden gem. Hosts were wonderful. A very enjoyable experience.

The rooms were a little dated and could do with a freshening up. Very clean and comfortable though.

Buffet breakfast was good albeit a limited selection but the croissants were superb. The restaurant dinner was excellent - no wonder it attracts non-resident diners!

The host was extremely helpful and knowledgeable on the area. We had the balcony room and it was stunning, the view of the mountains and the castle were beautiful. The host even gave us a tour of the cave. Love the use of location produce and wines. Breakfast was great.
