How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The shower drain did not work properly causing flooding on the floor causing a dangerous situation. My husband fell. Additionally as the metal baseboards were rusted this problem existed for a long time. Breakfast left something to be desired. I can only eat see much bread in different forms. Bread. Croissant. Cereal more bread
The pool was lovely. Close to a restaurant Staff were lovely.

Would have liked notre handrails ģenerally.
Good clean rooms with disabled facilities. Friendly and efficient staff. Good restaurant menus. Handily placed for the motorway.

The family room was too small Basic breakfast - need to offer more Staff could have been friendlier - we were accused of not paying when the payment had been made via booking.com

By mistake I paid twice for dinner - didn’t realise my account had been debited that evening and so paid for for 2 dinners in the morning before I left ! I assume that as it was my mistake I will just have to put that down to experience.
Friendly, efficient staff in reception and restaurant. Large room with good shower and comfortable bed. Good food at dinner and breakfast.

the shower water didn't drain fast enough and thus there was some small flooding that needed to be kept in check with towels. I forgot to report it (everything is in French, thus not that simple to explain). The same for the basin water that was draining slowly. A bit of work can solve this though. The comments in French (which I do understand well) from one staff member on me taking both a cup of coffee and a cup of warm milk were unprofessional and not appreciated. I was able to comment on that but this shouldn't happen.
room aircon was effective in the warm weather and the 3 different settings allowed me to keep it on at the lowest setting during the night as it was silent enough for me and kept the room comfortable. room was as expected for this type of hotel, all the necessary available but no extras. That is OK. wifi worked well and was free (apart from sharing some data). breakfast was excellent. Lots of choice.

There were not any warm options at breakfast time. The bathroom in one of the rooms needs renovation.
Good hotel when you are travelling around the area and need a hotel to stay for 1 night, close to the road and with fast food options around. The staff was friendly and spoke English. Our family room was two connecting rooms but right next to the lift, although it was not too noisy.

Could do with refurbishment but I think they are building a whole new hotel in same site... maybe they have given up with the current one. Still OK for overnight stay, but I think the condition does not warrant the cost
Safe and comfortable as a midway break from UK to south france for our family. Van was safe outside but you can park in garage for extra 4 euros if you like. Pool Clean restaurant food ok and friendly staff.

No kettle in the rooms or coffee, but one in reception, which wasn't filled up regularly with water, and no milk and cups..
