Location walk 10 minutes to centre 15 minutes to train. The extras provided by host/s made you feel welcome

The place was quiet.

Really good contact before and during the rental. All instructions were clear and timely. Perhaps not the best accommodation for two couples as the second bedroom and bathroom was significantly inferior to the first bedroom and bathroom. Made the stay more difficult for one party. For those self catering be prepared for a very modest sized kitchen but to its credit one that had all the amenities available but tightly packaged. A further comfortable chair in the common seating and eating area would be appreciated. Garage very helpful.

Great Location

Location was super easy walk to all areas. Clean and lots of little touches such as lunch boxes for picnics, umbrellas, pasta and sauce etc.

Spacious and clean apartment in a convenient location in Carcassonne (quiet street, easily walkable to the main town centre area and the Medieval city). The private outdoor terrace was lovely for sitting in the sunshine. Secure parking in the underground garage was very convenient.

The mattress was a bit firm for us (but that's personal preference, I'm sure some people would like it that way)!

This property was beautifully presented and had everything we required for a comfortable and easy stay. There was extras in the kitchen and fridge. Easy parking and close to the town centre.

Only a small thing, but the Streaming TV service was locked onto French so we couldn’t change it to English.

Loved staying at this little apartment. It’s in a great location. We could walk easily to all the things in Carcassonne that we wanted to visit. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the apartment and it was well equipped with everything we needed. The owners were very responsive whenever we messaged them. A real gem.

A charming apartment so well fitted out nothing was lacking. Beds were comfortable, lovely bathroom. The terrace was great to enjoy an afternoon drink in the sun, very private. The cold welcome drinks in the fridge were much appreciated, also the washer and dryer after 2 weeks of travelling. We would love to return one day.

The location is within walking distance to central Carcassonne town and the castle old town. I particularly liked the veranda where we could sit outside, eat and play games.

The second bedroom is not very private when sharing with friends. The curtain does not properly surround the area.

Location to tourist sites, restaurants, supermarkets & nature trails. Immaculately clean, spacious, comfortable and modern apartment with every thoughtful necessity supplied. Great local advice notes. Lovely sunny aspect with outside or inside sitting areas. Safe, secure car park with easy access. Highly recommended.

Spacious well equipped one bedroom apartment with a separate alcove area containing another double bed. The main bedroom is quite spacious with a walk-in robe and second bathroom. Appreciated the welcome package of goodies on arrival. Good heating. Great secure undercover carpark on a deadend street, making it a quiet location but close to main amenities. A good boulangerie and Carrefour supermarket a short walk away. Overall, it is an excellent apartment.

The kitchen was very well equipped, apartment was clean and secure parking was very useful.

The second "bedroom" was actually a double bed placed in an alcove the access corridor leading from the main bedroom to the lounge & kitchen so there was no privacy - an awkward arrangement for 2 couples!

An apartment that felt like a real home. Incredibly well equipped and large. So useful to have a dryer along with the washing machine. Beautiful terrace area for times when sunny and warm. So quiet within the building and the general location but really central for the town centre, which has fantastic shops, bars and restaurants. A huge bonus to have a dedicated secure parking space under the building. Other pluses were the really good Wifi, plenty of coffee capsules for a nespresso machine (better coffee than most Airbnbs we stayed at in France this trip!), comfy bed, ample towels and large TV. Was really surprised two bathooms, which I didn't realise from the details.

Kitchen is on the small size for preparing food but it has been well done and there is a table in the living / dining area which could be used as overflow.

We liked the property because it was very quiet, comfortable and has a lovely terrace. It is also well equipped and we had a very nice welcome pack on our arrival. It is within walking distance from the La Bastide and the Cité de Carcassonne

Very well equipped, food basics, air conditioning, more comfort than expected. Excellent service late at night to fix a minor problem with air conditioning. Host very responsive to messages. Not far from town, walking distance.

Everything worked well

This apartment exceeded expectations. The beds were comfy, the a/c was plentiful and the showers/bathrooms were enormous. There were so many creature comforts in this apartment, we actually chose to cut our touring short just to spend more time at the apartment.

The only downside was that it is quite a far walk to the heart of the old town, and much further to La Cite. However, Carcassonne is a very driveable city (by European standards) and as such, walking to everything is not as necessary here. Also, if this apartment were right in the centre of the old town, it would cost a fortune. The distance is the trade off to stay at such a fabulous place.

This was a great place, had everything we needed and was really comfortable. Not short of anything, including some nice welcome surprises. Would definitely come here again.

Stephane and Anna were fabulous hosts, they even offered to take us to the train station for which we were exceptionally grateful as our first choice train was cancelled so we had to make immediate changes. First class amenities and equipment including beers in the fridge!!!!

Only up one flight of stairs with luggage

The best accommodation of our 3 week trip. Spotlessly clean. Wonderful hosts who not only met us but also left us some cold beverages in the fridge - a lovely touch. Safe and secure parking under the apartment. Comfortable bed in a dark and quiet room - a great sleep. The shower was excellent - great pressure, large and drained well. Massive bathroom. The lounge room was cosy and we relaxed one afternoon while it poured with rain and watched the French Open tennis - so relaxing. The apartment is a short walk to the old town with restaurants, supermarkets and patisseries all close by.
