A quiet little family run Chambres d’hotes in a peaceful location. We received a very warm welcome and were made to feel immediately at home. The bathroom was superb and the beds so comfortable. The best I have slept on this trip. We ate at the table d’hotes and the meal was excellent. We had a lovely view from the terrace for our meal.

The setting is beautiful - picture perfect! Our rooms were great for our family with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. The staff was kind and accommodating. Breakfast was lovely on the deck. Plenty of interesting walks nearby.

The entrance just looks a little tired, but don't let that put you off. We'd go again in a heartbeat!

Great stay in the middle of nowhere. Ideal for cyclists, walkers, and "explorers." Locked room to store cycles. Big car park. Delicious 3 course meal offered with wine as well as a sumptuous breakfast. Rooms were large, comfy beds. Bathrooms were a little dated, and the shower had loads of hot water. The host was super helpful with our bags, which really helped as the heavens opened when we arrived Loved it!

Most especially the warm, welcoming hosts, who helped us find hikes and navigate the area. We also enjoyed the rooms, which were simple but comfortable and tasteful (retro-rustic), and had lovely balconies from which to enjoy the mountain air. The location is also excellent: Saint Dalmas is a quiet, unhurried but charming French mountain town with a local pizzeria / Bar Tabac, grocery and not too much else. It was the perfect location to set off for hikes in the Parc Mercantour and to see other villages such as Saint Martin Vésubie.

The bathroom set up is a bit unusual - with no sinks in the small, separate toilets.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Great food and we ate dinner outside. This is probably a place that people return to.

Comfortable beds, very quiet and cosy. The owners were very helpful to give us directions for hikes as well as restaurants around. The morning breakfast was simple and yummy! We got to witness the first snow of the season!

It felt like coming into someone’s front room with all the Knick knacks everywhere.

The lady owner was very friendly and helpful, much appreciated as I was on my own and very tired towards the end of my trek along the gr5, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was new and very clean

Updating bathrooms, staff is not unfriendly but you dont feel that welcome. Breakfast was simple. The hotel was quite noisy Correct instructions regarding the exact location

The hotel is quite difficult to find, Google maps brings you to wrong place and the instructions of the owners via Booking, is incorrect. The hotel is quite far away from a town so you are best to use to restaurant of the hotel. Something you have to reserve 48H upfront. Room is basic but clean. Bathroom was outdated, with a shower in a bath with no hook, so you have to hold the shower head. We did not find that comfortable.. . The bed was fine though. Breakfast was simple but ok, no eggs though and only a few slices of bread were offered. Next time, we would choose another hotel
