Loved this place, in a quiet rural valley with a stream nearby and horses in the neighbouring fields, though not far from the autoroute. Clearly mostly used by walkers. The owners were friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were communal, sharing a big table with other guests which was nice (though our French wasn't good enough for long conversations). Dinner was tasty and robust - bread and pate, sausage and potato, myrtle berry tart for dessert. Good cheeses and honeys available for breakfast.

Personal welcome, very comfortable bed, room and en suite shower room spotlessly clean, excellent night's sleep. Good breakfast, very fresh croissants and bread, selection of local cheeses, hot chocolate.

Fantastic lodge. Just over an hour walking from aumont aubrac. The rooms are spacious, very clean and so are all the other areas. Located at the edge of the forest it it is perfect for peace and quietness. The breakfast and dinner are fantastic, they have thought of everything.

The location was a little remote, but we enjoyed staying in the country at a farm. I had the evening meal made with local products and it was delicious. Our host was very friendly. Our room was comfortable.

The hosts are so helpful and friendly they could not be nicer. The food was delicious both dinner and breakfast. We will definitely be back ! Highly recommend

The host was very welcoming but didn’t say Bar shutting or where to get extra water for drinks. We didn’t have an evening meal so can’t comment as we were arriving at 8pm and it was finished. No snacks or sandwiches to purchase. The bar was open so we nipped to get pizza from nearby village. Arrived back at 8.58 went to the bar for a quick pint before bed and it was shut and owner we think passed us in his car leaving the accommodation as we were returning from pizza shop. We were disappointed we couldn’t get a quick drink. We had a coffee machine but only one small bottle of water so not enough to take medication and then use for coffee or tea. Our son and his family stayed in attic room which was so hot but no aircon, they slept with roof open as no choice but then saw a sign saying don’t as lots of bugs. They didn’t have any coffee/tea making facilities in the attic family room. The accessible room was ground floor off the restaurant which was a little strange. Lovely room and shower room with shower and hair products free, although no locks on any doors. The pillows on the bed for decoration were dirty looked like food marks on them so didn’t use them. The room was advertised as soundproofed but we heard very loud talking and after dinner singing in the dining room and no consideration for us in the room off the dining room. The noise carried on till 11pm and then horrendous banging from above us. We later found out it wasn’t it was a staircase on the side wall banging & raised voices every-tine someone went up or down. My advice would be to avoid the 2 rooms we booked. All in all it was an expensive bed for the night as that is all we got for our Money. We went to a nearby village for breakfast and the croissants and coffee were lovely. They did breakfast at the lodge but expensive for what you got. We enjoyed our village breakfast and continued our journey.

we had bought a room with a terrace but it was shared with 2 other rooms which meant no privacy. the room was very dark. the host's handling of us not being allowed to keep our luggage in the room. we had to repackage in a plastic bucket. our things were with the shared dormitory, the rest put us at risk even though we got luggage transport and only stayed in a hotel. it should have been in one of the countless messages then we would have chosen another place
