Clean, tidy and cosy with comfy bed. Set in a beautiful town with many bars and restaurants around. The pool area looked lovely but was too cold to try it.

    Nothing!

Good central location. Parking a bit difficult but fine in the end. Didn’t like the fact that I didn’t get any receipt for my payment ( nothing to do with hotel) so was a bit unsure if my car was parked ok.

Loved this hotel. Safe storage for our bikes. A lovely, calm, comfortable room with a mezzanine for our teenage son, who appreciated the privacy. A stunning view over the castle. A lovely pool and friendly staff. Fantastic location in a beautiful town.

The WiFi in our room (16) was a little hit and miss.

Stunning central location right alongside the castle. Public areas of the hotel are impeccable, and the pool was a nice surprise. Excellent breakfast. Bedroom as expected, bed a little soft but slept well.

Good location near the chateau (which was visible, but hardly worth a mention as the view was the vertical side of the ancient chateay wall). The morning breakfast staff was polite and responsive ensuring a good start to the day.

The room decoration was unusual (Black and orange), and very dated. There was a single room heater (not a radiator) behind the entrance door. The bathroom heater did not work. The bathroom was adequate. The room access was up 2 flights of stairs and via an outside open terrace.

Lovely room, close to town centre, easy check in, nice pool

Pool could have been cleaned and the bathroom drains smelled

Great location to access restaurants, shops, salt beds (Hippobus tour) & the chateau (directly opposite the hotel). Good access along pedestrian/ cycle path to the nearest beach (Plage des Sableaux)- very much a cycle friendly area. Pool and terrace area is clean and there is a small bar area- it is a welcome addition to the central courtyard area- rooms look out onto the pool. The pool is enclosed by glass 'fencing' and only accessed via 'kid lock' gates.

Room was a little basic but it was clean and comfortable.

The location, although awkward for a car is very central. The pool and poolside area is excellent. Beds comfortable. Nice staff.

Room a bit shabby - especially the large musty closet. Toilet seat wonky.

Lovely family owned establishment. Great location. Pleasant to stay here.

I am reluctant to say this as we find the owner so nice and the hotel is so pleasant and decorated with taste. But I have thought on our last few stays the it is time to refresh the Interieurs with at least a new coat of paint at the hotel. The sisal carpet is also in tatters in many places throughout the property.

location and the staff member who ran breakfast.

Misleading description re parking. No parking at hotel.Nearest free parking 1km away otherwise it was €30 per day in municipal car park. On arrival there were no staff at reception and I had to ring the bell five times and wait 8mins for someone to turn up. Hardly ever any staff around. The room was very shabby and damaged. Door had been jemmied open and not repaired. Central light fitting broken and flickering, so could not be used. No plug in the washbasin. Bathroom windows would not close properly. Door and window curtains coming off rails. Blinds on windows between bedroom and bathroom did not work properly. Floor covering was sisal and very rough and uncomfortable to walk on, especially in bare feet. The room was stifling and there was no fan. One day the room was cleaned and the bed made up, the next in wasn’t and towels which had become dirty from the bathroom floor weren’t changed. The gutter above the door leaked and dripped on you as you went in or out. Overall, of the 25-30 hotels we have stayed in over the past couple of years, this is the worst.
