I received notice from the hotel that check-in would only be at 4pm, but that I was welcome to wait in their lounge. That was greatly appreciated. The lounge was ver comfortable, and a very nice staff member actually checked me in at 3pm. Breakfast was very good. The room was very clean.

The mattress was hard, and the pillow was uncomfortably lofty.

Location, absolutely brilliant. Easy walking to restaurants and Main Street.

Parking was a bit of an issue outside hotel due to roadworks. However there was free parking in an underground car park. We did manage to get parked outside of the hotel, but it was a bit of a tight fit

Breakfast was good. The lady at reception was nice.

Surrounded by a building site and no pool. Not good value for money at €187 per night.

Stay Away – Worst Hotel Experience in a Ski Resort I stayed at Les Crêtes Blanches for one night (Sunday into Monday) and it was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The room was incredibly dated and in desperate need of refurbishment. The bathroom was disgusting — dirty silicone, cracked sink, and everything just felt old, worn, and uncared for. The entire hotel is far out of date and completely lacking in comfort. The location is okay, but it’s a decent walk to the slopes — and there are many far better hotels nearby. The worst part: after skiing on Monday, I came back to use a shower (I had checked with reception in the morning and was told it would be fine). When I returned, they refused and told me the only way to shower was to book another full night. I was happy to pay a cleaning fee to use a room for 15 minutes, but forcing guests to pay for another night is disgraceful. Did they expect me to drive four hours to Geneva and catch a flight back to London covered in sweat? I was incredibly upset and disappointed. This hotel has no understanding of basic hospitality. I will never return, and I strongly recommend you book elsewhere.

    Property response:

Dear Sir, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. The comment section is meant to reflect the reality of your experience. However, we believe your review does not accurately represent the situation, as it seems to be influenced by your frustration over our inability to accommodate your request for a shower after check-out. We would like to clarify a few points regarding your stay. While our reception team aims to be as accommodating as possible, we did not guarantee access to a room for showering after check-out. On the day of your departure, you returned in the afternoon — by which time our cleaning staff had already left for the day. Unfortunately, this made it impossible to prepare a clean room for short-term use. Additionally, we must note that your interaction with our reception team was marked by a high level of aggression, clearly influenced by alcohol, which placed our staff in a challenging position. While we aim to treat every guest with courtesy and professionalism, we expect the same in return. Les Crêtes Blanches has a traditional, rustic style, which many of our guests appreciate for its charm and authenticity. While the decor reflects this character, we are committed to high standards of cleanliness and maintenance, as reflected in the majority of our guest reviews. Lastly, we’d like to note that our location is located 200 meters away from the slopes, offering convenient access to skiing and resort amenities. We understand that our style may not suit everyone, but we remain dedicated to providing warm hospitality and a clean, comfortable environment for our guests. Best regards, Jimmy, Hotel Manager

Location so close to lifts and ski hire. Great views of the mountains from my room and the dining room.

Other guests a bit noisy during the night.
