How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

- the public area seemed to need some attention for maintenance. Cutting of grass, painting, fixing dividers between patios - the facility charges 18 euros per day for a dog! We found this outrageous, it was not clear when booking. There was a fee stated, but 18 euro for a shitzu! Not reasonable!
The apartment was clean and furnished well. However the balcony furniture had not been cleaned for a while

Doggie charge was €100 per dog, I thought this was abit steep, as there were no doggie treats or anything for them.
Staff very helpful. House was super clean.

Only provide one roll of toilet paper for any length of stay, and one bin bag, no soap or washing up liquid provided - would help if this was clearer in the description when looking.

For 4 people the apartment space was way too small. It's a modern, modest complet
Accommodation was very clean, well equipped. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Very good value for money.

The necessity to create an account and communicate via the messaging system it provided - unwelcome bureaucracy. It was unclear whether serviettes/towels were included, fairly promptly provided some withot charge when pressed.

Very basic and a bit worn apartment. No towels or fan/aircon unless you pay extra.

An underwhelming welcome. There were barely any cooking utensils, no plug for washing up dishes and we were provided with half a toilet roll to begin. For a four star rated establishment, we were required to make our own bed. After a long day of travel;-this is not what you expect to do.

It wasn’t clear upon booking that you had to make your own bed, fully clean the apartment before check out, strip the bed and take them to reception with your towels and take the bins out. Pool that is used for their main photo was shut which is understandable as it is out of season but it wasn’t clear that the indoor pool was shut. You have to pay for the sauna which wasn’t open anyway. The gym was just a cross trainer and a couple of odd dumbbells. The only saving grace was that the room was clean.

We were unaware that you should bring your own towels. We had to pay 10 euros each to rent a set of towels. You are asked to wash dishes and leave the place clean but no capsules were there for the dishwasher, no liquid,sponges etc for use in washing up. The beds were not made up although linen was provided. Finally. don't forget to bring your toilet paper!. We were totally unprepared for these problems at a resort which claims to be 4 star. ( and which needs to improve the water pressure)
Excellent location if you use your car. If you walk into town, do it in daylight. If you walk back from town, be prepared to walk uphill for 1.5 kms with hardly any pavements. Not a good idea to walk back at night.

The pool that is announced in the photos isn’t working since at least April apparently. We decided to book because we were traveling with our 3 year old daughter so at the end we went to the rivière to swim. I am allergic to bug beds that are controlled with allergy pills but in this property I just couldn’t breathe! You can see that they don’t do deep cleaning… the sink was also dirty. You have to pay 10€ to rent a towel .. I would expect a fluffy one for that price but they were just tiny and thin.. They also give you the bedding for you to put yourself in the beds and it’s clearly stated that you have to leave the apartment as you received so we spent some time cleaning it. For this price you can definitely find something much better, cleaner and with all the facilities working properly.
It was close to Sarlat and had kitchen facilities.

no contact at all with staff, accommodation very basic, instructed (almost aggressively) to clean dishes etc but nothing provided to do so. remote check in due to covid?? but cleanliness didn’t match standards . wouldn’t use sofa bed, wouldn’t stay again
the location was as described and about 20 minutes walk into town , very basic and very limited staff contact, wouldn’t stay again!
