United KingdomThe hotel is nicely situated, a short walk into the restaurants and the River Somme. The staff were obliging and tried to help with breakfast even though we had to leave very early to catch a ferry. The rooms are pleasant.

United KingdomIn a hotel of this quality it was strange that there was no bedside table! We found the automatic light which came on if you went to the separate wc very annoying as it lit up the whole room. At the least a less bright light would have been appreciated.
We received a warm welcome from the efficient staff at this quality hotel. Although we didn't have a seaview (these were more expensive) there was a pleasant view of the gardens. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable with a good shower. The wc was separate from the bathroom. We were able to store our 2 e-bikes in a locked shed in the grounds. The hotel has its own private car park. The attractive village and river side esplanande of St-Valéry was just a few minutes walk. We ate in the restaurant and were very impressed with the food, which was absolutely delicious and interesting. Clearly they have a chef with considerable talents. The spa was great and the jacuzzi had panoramic views of the estuary of the Somme.

We had no idea from the Booking.com site that we would be located in an outbuilding, along a boardwalk, up a flight of wooden steps, with our luggage,. and we aren't spring chickens. .
