Pool not adapted for adult swimming, the cost was a little high for what you get, would expect it to be 15% cheaper

We had a mobile home right next to a sanitation area, just really crowded and noisy. Kids run wild and parents are busy with other things or dont care. All good for them, just a bit too busy for us. Relaxing you better do offsite, or one of the more expensive spots at the edge of the site. However thought it was already very expensive. Next time would either pay more or go to a smaller and simpler camping closer to river and be ok with swimming in nature instead of a very crowded pool.

Great location and easy acces. Staff very helpful and well maintained. Gas was empty half way and no hot water. Called reception and fixed within half an hour, as well as a broken light.

The accommodation was clean but needed a-lot of maintenance things were starting to break or be damaged and the drains smelt bad. The football pitch needs investment.

I feel that separate men’s and woman’s shower blocks would be more ideal for safety reasons.

We loved the pool, the restaurant everything was great. It was lovely and cool in the evening.the staff are very friendly and helpful. We would love to return some day. The tents were well equipped we loved our stay. The kids loved the pool with slides and waterfall and it’s a great location to see all attractions the drive is stunning thru the gorge and also the prettiest local town Castellane

If you’re particular about pillows, pack your own. But other than that everything else was great!

Having to leave

The location is fantastic, The reception team contacted us before arrival with useful information. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming and dealt with any enquiries quickly and efficiently. We rented a beautiful mobile home with a stunning sunset view. The restaurant also has stunning views and the pool was amazing. Food and facilities were of a high standard and all the staff friendly and helpful. The location is amazing for exploring the stunning scenery in the area. I would highly recommend this little piece of heaven and definitely hope to return.

Almost no warm water, just a bit in a shower, but both of the sinks got only a cold water. In general the house is a bit cold during preseason (May).

Really nice and new mobile home, awesome price/quality ratio, dog friendly. We loved the terrace and quiet area.

Just a note to anyone with walking difficulties it is a steep site, it was fine for us with our dog but I saw some people struggling. Facilities like restaurant, snack bar were only open a few hours a day and not every day, also no camping shop for basic provisions. We were here first week of September so we expected a little more to be still open. Not a problem but just good to know in advance to be well prepared.

A lovely campsite in beautiful nature, our mobile home was brand new and very spacious with great views over the valley. Nice pool and good basic restaurant (only open a few hours a day). Nice walking trails and close to beautiful village of Castellane. Very dog friendly camping.

Beds are very uncomfortable and mattress should really be changed. There is enough place to sit in the safari tent, but adding a cushion on the wooden chairs would go a long way. Would be nice that the on site store has more groceries, but that might be the case in high season.

Lovely staff and the swimming pool is great for children. Fresh bread that can ne ordered every morning is brilliant service as well. Nature is beautiful and this is really for people that want an active vacation.

Cozy mobile house with beautiful view to mountains. House has a big terrace. From camping it is comfortable to reach amazing places like Verdon Gorge, Grasse or fields of lavandes.

I wish booking.com communicated at the time of the booking the extra cost of bed linen and towels, and it was also hard to find a staff. Memeber during the day, the shop and reception wasnt open when it should have been

It was furnished with dark colours, not very holidayish .The solar lights didn’t work and the decking was very rough , it needed treating, we got a few splinters.

It is a Dutch owned company but was more Dutch than we realised, the site was predominantly Dutch speaking so maybe not the best for an authentic French experience. The bed sheet rental was not working so we had to buy sheets and you need to pre book water sports, you can’t do on the day or the day before. The pool is great for kids but is not a relaxing place. The service was lovely and the team seemed happy and like they were having fun.

It’s set in a beautiful location with a fun but cold pool. There is a lot to do around the site and has a brilliant shop. There is a lovely muck in atmosphere amongst the campers.

Could be a bit difficult for elderly people to walk up to hill, to use the car instead.

Very friendly staff, perfect location on the hill of the mountain and very nice surroundings. I was a pleasure to spend few days near the pool.

Not all staff members were horeca professionals. As a consequence: forgotten drinks and occasionally long waiting times in the restaurant. There were no blinds to block the sun or nets in the bungalow, therefore we couldn't sleep well because of early light. And hundreds of flies were also annoying. But it's our personal experience.

Bungalow seemed new and was nice with terrace and the view on the mountains. There were also facilities and activities for kids. Our daughter liked to swim in the pool and play at the playground. Food in the bistro was also tasty, a bit limited though the first week of july.
