This is one of a collection of rustic cottages, which have been restored by Charles. We were offered self catering or breakfast could be supplied. They are in a rural location but only ten minutes from the Péage to Calais and approximately half an hour from Le Touquet with nearby shops and supermarket at Etaples. The cottage was comfortable, comprising of bedroom, shower and wash facilities and a kitchen/diner. We enjoyed our two night stay and would stay again. Thankyou.

The accommodation is wonderful. Every need that travellers have has been thought of. The outdoor space is lovely. The whole place is so peaceful and tranquil. We would have loved to have spent more time there but unfortunately we were only here for an overnight stop on a journey south. We paid extra for the breakfast and it was superb! We would definitely stay here again, we loved it.

Perfect location not far from the motorway. The room was very spacious. The bed was very comfortable. Had a fantastic kitchen and beautiful gardens to sit in. It was a shame we were only there for one night.

No hanging space for clothes, uncomfortable lounge seating as chaise lounge only suitable for one person and no opening windows so felt stuffy at night.

We were served breakfast on the patio on a lovely sunny morning. The accommodation was beautifully restored. The owners were delightful.

Nothing could have been better, it is the best, but I was a little reluctant to sing it's praises as you like to keep special places like this to yourself.

On arrival the sight of what appears to be very rustic is so deceiving. The equipment and facilities are amongst the best you will find anywhere. The welcome from our hosts was warm and inviting, and add to that the serenity and tranquillity of the location then it can only be described as an oasis in this region of France. Plus the best Wi-fi I have ever found. We shall return many times.

Very friendly hosts. Accommodation perfect.. well thought out and in an ideal location. Dog friendly and beach not far if you want a long walk... Have booked again for our next trip to the UK. Looking forward to the breakfast!

Nothing not to like.

We liked everything. That day was an adventure in itself, we had been extremely delayed by rescuing a lost little dog and taking time to reunite her with her owner. We arrived at the property around 10:00pm, three hours later than we had anticipated. The host was totally welcoming and the ground floor accommodation was a beautiful conversion, so tastefully decorated and furnished. The kitchen area was a great feature as we were able to make some dinner. The bedroom was most comfortable and great bathroom too. In the morning, a delicious breakfast (EUR 10 per person) was brought by the host and taken on the little terrace in front of the 'cottage'. It was an idyllic moment, so peaceful and surrounded by nature. Our cat Jack enjoyed his stay also. This accommodation is less than an hour drive from Calais, so really a great stay on the way back to UK or arriving in France as a first stop over.
