Nice little hotel. We checked in late after hours, but were welcomed and given our room key. The hotel staff members were very nice and helpful, especially Manon. We were on the top floor and many stairs which are difficult for us, since we are in our late 70's. Otherwise, we have no complaints.

If the hotel had a lounge we didn't find it. There wasn't room for an armchair in our bedroom so we struggled to find a space in which to relax - apart from the dining area. The bedroom, without sea view, was as advertised, but really too small for our needs. Better suited to younger couples.

The location is superb. Right on the beach - and what a beach. The food in the restaurant was great - it is hard to find good salads in France. The staff were very friendly and the vibe was relaxed. The breakfasts were delicious.

Everything! This hotel is quiet, has wonderful staff and is next to the beach. We went sea swimming, took the ferry to Dinard and enjoyed the city. Would highly recommend it.

A small but perfect room for a one night stay. Perfect location with popular terrace bar/restaurant. Staff were fantastic and provided safe storage for our bikes overnight. Left too early for breakfast but optimistic we’ll be back again in the future!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Reception staff allowed me to check in early as my room was ready which I greatly appreciated. The room was in the annexe and was very clean, with a kettle, coffee and tea which was very welcome. There was also a fan as the room was on the 2nd floor and the room did get hot while I was there so I was glad of the fan. There is no lift so you need to be aware you need to carry your case up the flights of stairs. I really enjoyed breakfast with the sea view and it was great that there was a restaurant on site as St Malo was very busy . You need to make a reservation for the restaurant as it gets very busy. The hotel is 25 mins from the station and 30 mins from Intro Muros.

The kids menu is limited in the restaurant but there are plenty of local restaurants within a short walk, so it was not a big problem.

A very memorable stay at Les Charmettes. The view is exceptional, to be enjoyed at every meal. Breakfast was a treat, loved the fresh crepes topped with the local salted caramel sauce. I would also recommend the onsite restaurant also, the seafood is beautiful. There’s plenty of sea-based activities right outside your door. The staff were welcoming and helpful despite our poor French.

The setting (right on the beach, close enough to all the action, but far enough away from the madding crowd!), the staff (so helpful and friendly!), the boutique beach decor, the attached restaurant (delicious and such a nice setting)- everything was charming and delightful!

Bathroom a little tight, no lift and perhaps a bit further from Intra Muros than we had envisaged.

Great location: On the seafront with a lovely seaview and large balcony; reasonably close to Intra Muros; close to a small supermarket and a very good patisserie and adjoining an excellent restaurant.

Excellent sea view and balconies to the front rooms. Close to a small supermarket and pattiserie. Quite close to Intra Muros. An excellent independent restaurant to the front. Very popular to reflect it's quality.

Room slightly on the small side but okay for a short stay.

The location of this hotel is excellent, only a 20 minute stroll from the centre of St Malo. Being able to reserve a parking space is a bonus even though there is an extra charge for this.
