The location is rural so you will need a car and a bit of a plan regarding dinner but on Saturday's a local pizza truck comes to town and Alice set us up with somewhere to eat.... Tricky with young children sometimes but Alice was great.

Alice is a wonderful host and immediately made us all feel at home. The rooms are immaculate and really nicely decorated with lots of smart touches, coffee, tea, milk, biscuits and fresh water, plug sockets near the bed etc. the breakfast spread was the best we had on our 2 week holiday.

The property was stunning, immaculate and the interior design was gorgeous. We loved everything about the property. It has everything you would need and more.

Our room was very awkward to use for older / taller guests - the stairs to access it were steep, though to be fair access is also possible from the sun terrace. There was a private small toilet and wash basin but the bath itself was in the bedroom - great for some, again awkward for us, with an almost unusable shower over it. Loungers on sun terrace are, like the room, probably fine for short people. A half hour drive from Boulogne, 40 mins to Calais. Just a bit far to drive to the coast for dinner after a long day. No close by options.

Superb design-led renovation of an old farmhouse with a very amiable and friendly host. Comfortable bed, excellent breakfast. Easy parking. Looked terrific. Everything worked. High quality fittings and plenty of plug sockets. Super quiet rural location. Sun terrace. A superb quirky weekend stay for a younger couple?

Everything! The place is beautiful with lots of attention to detail. Very clean and Alice and her husband are super lovely. We had one of the best breakfast ever!

Nothing. It was perfect for us.

Les Charmes du Petit Pre is absolutely exceptional. The location is perfect for travellers arriving at Calais with the intention of then travelling onward into France or beyond. The apartment was beautiful and exceptionally clean. The owners were so helpful and friendly too. The included breakfast was also fabulous. I stayed here with my son and his friend who are keen cyclists: a stop off after the ferry from England before the long drive to the Alps. The area is fantastic for cycling and we will definitely be staying at this accommodation again in the future. This place is a real gem and great value for the price. Beautiful. I totally recommend it.

We were welcomed beautifully by Alice who was great at explaining the facilities. Breakfast was fantastic and my children loved the muffins on offer.
