fridge and air conditioning are missing in the rooms also, there are not people, only one guy which is doing everything also the breakfast , poor for the value of money (eggs, meat can be added at least)

The town nearby doesn't offer many eating facilities. We had to drive to Bergheim, about 10 km away, to find an open restaurant that wasn't full.

A beautiful place, it's a 15-20 minutes walk to the castle, through the woods. Quiet, nice view.

There was a loud empty refrigerator in the corridor, its purpose is unknown, but it disturbed. Breakfast could be better.

Its a good location to visit the castle or walk in the mountains. Nice views, but not from the room. Pleasantly cool escape during hot summer.

Location and close attention to customer satisfaction. Very nice view from the bedroom. Direct access to the castle from the hotel with a ~ 30 mns walk on an easy trail through the forest (500 m elevation).

When I arrived no one was there (because I arrived earlier than expected). But after a short call the very friendly hosts were immideately arriving. I would recommend to put some information board or similar to reassure arriving guests that the accommodation is not closed.

Breakfast was fine and absolutely satisfying. Some croissants with jams and some coffee. All it needs. Awesome location with nice Panorama at the foot of Chateau du Koenigsbourg. You can walk there in a few minutes.

My only real issue with the room is the step between the corridor and the bathroom. It's very surprising and I hit it. Not a lot of space to walk inside the room but this was not a real surprise. The noise of the VMC is not an issue as long as you close the door between the bedroom and the corridor.

Location is very interesting if you plan to visit the Fort. Breakfast was good. The place is very quiet. Lots of places in the parking area. WiFi works fine.

Very basic breakfast. Insufficient communication from staff. If the restaurant is closed due to an event, let people know in advance, so they can plan ahead.

Great location for exploring Alsace The H.K castle is right there and it is close to the wine route and in between Colmar and Strasbourg. The accommodations are great, clean and confortable. A nice breakfast with a view before starting the day. I recommend.

In the room there was a threshold right in the middle, which we nearly tripped over several times. The same one was at the entrance to the bathroom. But I understand that this is just part of the house’s character.

An old chalet, close to the castle. A lovely porter who also served us breakfast. He may not be a real professional, but it’s so sweet to see someone trying their best. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. And the magical view from the windows!!

No staff!?...very poor service...terrible "excellent breakfast = coffee and bread!. Zero room service no trash clearing...no coffee replenishment....no one there!?...and then accused of "being dishonest and trashing room (NOT TRUE)...because I left at 730 no one there!?...TERRIBLE service and insulting attitude....travel a lot many years all over world...one of worst experiences

It was almost impossible to find staff. We were accused of leaving without paying. This was absurd as a) there was no one there to pay and b) my credit card was held on the system. The room was cold and uncomfortable. This ‘dog-friendly’ hotel complained about the fact that there was dog hair in the room and charged me extra for cleaning. The breakfast was very poor and served in another freezing cold room.

Staff is only one person & only there in morning for breakfast & 16-1800 for check in, which can be inconvenient. I tried to contact for late check in as mentioned to do via Booking & no one returned my messages. There were no dressers or hangers in the room. No toiletries except for small packet of shampoo & a body wash. No soap or extra towels. There was also no extra pillows or blankets & room was cold. Breakfast was definitely sparse, 3 rolls only & 2 small pieces of cheese. We asked for more rolls & it was made to feel as though it was an inconvenience & food was preordered for each guest. Definitely not satisfying.

The view was magnificent. I enjoy being outside the towns. Rooms were clean. Parking was nice.
